One handed driving with DFP

When I was driving a race on the ring, I got the idea of driving with only one hand. It seemed possible when it was an idea in my head, but then I tried it, I could do it! But having it in 900 degree mode and manual (normal for me) is possible and pretty hard. Driving with my right hand only: I use the left paddle to down shift and the stick to shift up.

Am I the only one to try this?

FF cars its rather easy to drive with one hand....some cars with so much power can be hard to handle out of a corner....I usually drive one handed in long races wit TC.....but w/o TC, it could be crazy.

lol. I always drive with one hand. I have an external shifter mounted in a realistic position, so all I have to do is throw the wheel around with my other hand and I'm good. Also learning to never have to turn the wheel more than 90* really really helps your driving skill also.

I drive my G25 with one hand. I have to admit, sometimes I get bit busy with the wheel, and after long drifting session my arm/wrist is sore, but damn, it's so much fun. God Hand style FTW :D

God Hand style FTW :D

So true 👍
I always drive rally stages only with my left hand and the car in continuous four-wheel slide :dopey:
But it really depends on the car I'm driving, I can't imagine myself using one hand steering with some of those twistier vehicles, especially if I have to push them a little (usually a lot or too much)

Ya driving with one hand is so realistic...just like you see real race car drivers doing.....oh wait , they us both hands. When your driving with one hand are you leaning back and to the side of your seat like the homies? And have your wrist hanging over the wheel? Cool.
