One lap win code question

Does the cheat for the endurance race timer get saved when you save the game with your new cars ?? it's just that it effects the time in "time-trial" mode too and i don't want the cheat on all the time ! sorry i'm a noob at this cheating lark !

If the gameshark isn't boted up b4 the game then the codes won't do anything since they won't be on. Just don't do time trials with the cheat on.....
