Just thought I'd take a brief moment here to, not really celebrate, but kinda reflect on my first full year on the site. In all honesty, I should have joined this place years before I eventually did!
Anyhow, I thought I'd take a quick moment to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome on the good ship, GTPlanet. I've met a lot of great people, done a lot of new things that otherwise wouldn't have been possible without knowing some of the guys on here.
I've always wanted to find a place where just about everyone was interested in motorsports in some way or another, and over the years, all the NASCAR formus just slowly died along with the sport itself. Thanks to this site, I've found ways to enjoy not only motorsports I've previously watched, but I'm now into sports car racing and, so thanks for filling up my free time during weekends! I've met a lot of great people on games with GTP relations, too, which has really livened up some of the games that get really stale from playing singleplayer all the time.
I know this may come off kind of silly, and I'm trying not to ramble on to much, but in a TL;DR form, thank to @Jordan for the site, @Famine for keeping me in line, on those one or two times... (
