Recently I've been trying to win the gold on Circuit de la sarthe on the online b-spec challenge. I used a Toyota GT-One with a lvl 40 driver but could only get 7th. The trouble is with the tyres I think but maybe it is the car. I gave the car a stage 3 turbo and decreased the rear and front aerodynamics by 5 and reduced some of the cars power and geared it for 370 km h. In the first 2 laps he does a good job at overtaking but then looses ground.

Please help me as I wish to get the lvl23 gift car ticket

Just got gold on Circuit de la sarthe on the online b-spec challenge

R8 Race car (available in on-line dealer) max downforce, increase weight to get to 700, gear ratio set to max at 240mph

running at 2/3 with a high spec driver always produces better traction out of the corners, i was in 3rd on lap 3, pit in intermediates , again playing it cool at 2/3 will let you catch the front two. you should be in second by lap 6/7 push the first place (but don't risk a risky overtake) car to increase the gap between you and 3rd

Overtook and got into first by lap 8 (pitted) ran at 2/3 overtaking 2nd place man (who had overtaken me in the pits) sailed past first as he was leaving pits, take it easy on your inters on the last lap (say 25-50%)as they burn out quickly as it dries and a 9 second win.

Thanks guys! I'm good with Spa but now I can complete Le Mans

Edit: Next time explain what tyres to use on last stint. Cost me the race

I used my 787B and pitted one lap after the rest of the cars (lap 4 for me).
This allowed me a hassle free lap and gained me a small lead. Keeping your driver at two thirds pace is a good tip, as stated. I also took it very easy in the chicanes and more difficult corners to reduce tire wear. Just keep your driver out of the red except for the long straights. Open it up when you can but I think your worst enemy for this one is a lead foot.

So... my B-spec driver is a Re re. With a lap to go and running 5th on the Sarthe he decides to drive along the grass very slowly most of the way down the Mulsanne Straight :/ and the 5 cars in front sail off to victory

happened to me to. When my driver was overtaking a car after the tight right hander after indianapolis the other car blocked me but when my driver was braking for mulsane the car behind bumped him. B-spec is the worst part of the game for fun but the best to make money

Wait, are you using only one driver? Try using two, so Bob isn't worn out by lap 8.

Also, why are people using sports softs???

I cant do it with any car with any driver, its hopeless...

EDIT:finaly... 40:12:*** with 2J... with 3d try... with Sports Soft...

Thanks GTP members for the tips.. without you it would be impossible!

you dont even have to pit in with the 2J weird u have to try 3 times with the car.

I have won this event with the GT-ONE, Audi R8, Bentley (awesome) and C60 pescarolo (just by 0.14 sec, bumper paint time)
