Online championship with AI

So I want to do an online championship with a friend against the AI, how do I fill the remaining slots with IA? I can't find the option to do it...

Just set the number of human opponents to 1 and select fill the grid with AI - same option is on PC2 as was on PC1. The option is on the bottom left of the screen after you select create online race. I used to use this option on PC1, but stopped with PC2 as the AI tend to ram any human driven cars in front of them at the start of races. Maybe this has improved with the new patch - haven't had time to check yet.

That can't be done with online championships only single races.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that is the primary reason we pre-order it.....are they introducing the option in the future?

Unfortunately I don't know. I hope so, seems like a feature that many including myself would love to be included.
