Online menu question

Hi guys, quick question. Why are some chequered flags white and others grey in the online race selection menu? I just can't figure it out

It's white if your currently selected car is eligible for the event. I's greyed out if it's not (e.g. you have selected a 4WD car and the event is RWD). You will see it change if you select a proper car.

I don't wanna make up a new thread for this question because I guess it meets with this matter:
Does anybody knows if GT5 will highlight the cars from the garage that are able to race in that event you just picked? Or filter out the ones you can't use...?

I guess it will be the same as Prologue, whereby it is already, basically, how you described it.
