So for the first time in about 2-3 years I have purchased LIVE gold. I
Trying to figure out forzas menus and I'm afraid what I'm looking for simply doesn't exist. Is there anyway to browse servers? Or to pick what track you want to play? And is there any free play mode like gt5 has?

There is a section called Free Play. If you are talking about online "Free Play" where everyone just drives around aimlessly, then no.

Browse servers, go to Race Online, Custom Made Games, and then browse. You can see what track they are running, how many people, what class, what restrictions such as "RWD only" as well as what kind of damage they are using.

Thanks for the reply, Vaxxtx. Shame about the online free play. I hope they implement something like it in the future because I enjoyed it a lot in gt5 doing cruises and such in between races.

I had similar questions. I assume this is the case with most games buy why not include some sort of manual??? If not a physical manual, at least some sort of pdf. I don't buy a whole lot of games. When I bought Civ 5 they refer you to a giant pdf that explains all the intricacies of the game. It took me a while to figure out how to join a club that I was invited to. Also took me a while to figure out how to change cars in autovista. I didn't even know that you did not need xbox live gold for rivals.

I'm sure most people on the forums don't need a manual. However if they sell a million copies then maybe 20% of those people get on the forums. There might be a large number of "noobs" that could really use a manual.

yeah but making a manual means more works, more works means less money return. So why doing more when you can do less and still gets the money ? A badly made manual wont ruin a game. I was pretty sad to see also that the LCE book is actually the Clarkson commentary from Autovista. It's the exact same things, so if you read the LCE books while coming back from the shop where you pick the game there's no surprise anymore in Clarkson commentary. Kinda sad.

How do I find my friends storefront?

Go into the community section (where you find the auction house, rivals, Storefront, et cetera), go to the Storefront, and then go down to the bottom where you can view your own Storefront. While at your Storefront, press the Y button and it should bring up some options, including to view your friends' Storefronts.

People never bothered using the manuals when they did come with games. I can't guess how many questions I've seen asked online that were answered right there in print in the manuals that came with the games.
