Online roulette races?

I always enjoyed the online roulette (lobby) races i think it was in GT6 (?) where you would get a random car at a random track to compete with others who also got a random car from the same PP class. i didnt find this possibility in GT7 , am i right it isnt in this one? or can i maybe make a custom lobby like this?

It was in gt5 and sadly it's not back, despite fans asking for it since they took it off. It was my favorite racing, I had the best online races online with it.

But to be fair, the more I play GT7, the more I think it should be called GT sports 2.0.

Well thats a shame, its like you said, i also had the best online experience in that mode. But i didnt think it was already that far back, but i believe you when you say it was in GT5, i cant recall. I enjoy the game alot actually, also online but i'm missing this feature. it also challenged you to drive cars you would probably never drive otherwise.

Shuffle races were so much fun, slower drivers could get a slightly higher pp car too, if it were set up that way, so races were balanced and fun.

Also like you said, you'd find yourself driving unfamiliar cars and having to adapt on the fly.
I wonder if they dont think they have enough cars to try this right now? Gt5 had 1000(?) so plenty of variety to shuffle through
