Only Fools and Horses

I was very surprised to find that there was no thread on the long-running British comedy, Only Fools and Horses that was shown on the BBC regularly between 1981 and 1991 as well as specials that were shown up until 2003.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Only Fools, here's a Wikipedia definition:

Set in Peckham in south London, it stars David Jason as ambitious market trader Derek "Del Boy" Trotter, Nicholas Lyndhurst as his younger brother Rodney, and Lennard Pearce as their elderly Grandad. After Pearce's death in 1984, his character was replaced by Uncle Albert (Buster Merryfield). Backed by a strong supporting cast, the series chronicles the Trotters' highs and lows in life, in particular their attempts to get rich.

So, what's the reason that I created this thread? Well Only Fools and Horses will return to British screens this year on March 21st as part of fundraising for Sport Relief: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/...nd-Horses-to-return-for-a-one-off-sketch.html

Personally I think this is great news as I've been missing OFAH for some time, and have watched every episode although I am sceptical as it won't feature John Sullivan's brilliant comedy genius. What are your thoughts on this?

This show truly is a classic, what else is there to say? I've been watching clips on Youtube since the news dropped that Trigger's actor died, such a great comedian, excellent timing.

Always watch this when it's on Gold. This show will never stop being funny. I'm sure 40/50 years down the line it'll still be funny!

Did you know in the batman and robin scene they had to shine really bright lights at all the windows in the road to prevent the storyline getting leaked by the residents?
