Yeah..., Manta A GT/E or as mine '71 Manta :-)

The Manta A was released in September 1970, two months ahead of the then new Opel Ascona on which it was based. A competitor to the Ford Capri, it was a two-door "three-box" coupé, and featured distinctive round tail lights, quite similar to those on the Opel GT and which in fact were used on the GT in 1973, its final model year.
The Manta was normally equipped with a 1.6–1.9-litre CIH engines, although in Europe a small 1.2-litre motor was also offered. All Mantas sold in the U.S. had the 1.9 L and larger heavy duty radiator (an option on European models). It came with either a four-speed manual or an optional three-speed TH-180 automatic. The Manta was known to be one of the best handling cars in its class and went on to win a large number of rallies in Europe and the United States.

Engines:

1.2S 44 kW (60 PS)
1.6N 44 kW (60 PS)
1.6S 55 kW (75 PS)
1.9S 66 kW (90 PS)
1.9E 77 kW (105 PS)

Dimensions:

Wheelbase 95,75 in (2.432mm)
Length 168,75 in (4.286mm)
Width 64 in (1.600mm)
Height 53 in (1.300mm)
Curb weight 970 kg

Use the Edit button to add more information to your previous post rather than just making post after post.

And this thread is going to need something a lot better than that vague title to stay alive. And something better than a few pictures of a model car too...

Okay, sorry...

The model car images are not posted by me.
Do you mean, more informations like Wikipeda about this car?

I know, hence that being a separate statement. Your images are far, far superior (not least because they're an actual car  )

Yes, that's a good place to start - every bit of research we do is a bit of research that the guys who'll put the cars into the game don't have to do.

That aside, since this thread was created, we've rejigged this forum to make it more useful for the same reason. Here's the titling guidelines - and you can see that this thread is missing a specific model (imagine if you want the top spec 1.9E and the PD team added the 1.2S...) and year from its title.

Okay, I've edited the post with the red A Manta pics.

I know, but the A Manta Thread is not from me. I wish I could edit the title...
