Ok, my dad just downloaded this office tool thing that like combines all the MS Office programs, and gives you a few. I haven't got a chance to use it yet, but I figure I'll just tell you people about this thing and find out if anyone else has it.

I have a copy of it on my PC World (Magazine) CD. PC World always has free beta demos and stuff they go ont to say that the programs are a great alternative to MS products.......

Anyway I don't know a thing and I would steer clear of it at the moment and stick to MS Office if you have it as nearly every PC in the world has a copy of MS Office..

I have that CD - I was planning to try it. Did you actually use it?

I never install Office things cause I never use them and it will cause my system registry to much of an over kill with more entries!

Ick. I was thinking of using it instead of Office on my laptop to save hard drive space. I might do an install on the upstairs PC and check it out.

well, office suite is also free, and it pretty much makes MS office better. It has an HTML editor (which I have been looking for for years). Now all I need is a HTML Dictionary. It also has an advanced mathematics calculator, and a Powerpoint-style drawing program.

Do you have windows 98 and above?! You are GIVEN a free copy of MS Frontpage Free! It is a WYSISYG editor (what you see is what you get) so you don't even have to know how to use HTML!
