Just downloaded Opera...I really like it. Its great for getting code, etc. And it looks hella cool. I recommend everyone at least check it out.

Eh, Opera threw up its hands and started blaming Apple for making a browser that was too good, and publicly announced how disappointed they were in Apple and blah blah blah.

I can't exactly do that, since Opera has stopped development for da Mac people, and

B) It can't possibly be that good if they gave up that quickly. ;) The Omni team is still working on their project, as well as the Gecko team, and both want to try and one-up Apple's offering.

Well, I meant Windows people. You lucky Mac users get Safari.
But of course! :D

You can change the skin in Opera...you can't do that in IE.
As always, I'm speaking straight from Mac OS experience, but I know that IE for Mac can be skinned very easily... it seems to me that IE for Windoze should be just as easy to skin...? (Since Microsoft is quite supportive of the themeing community, unlike Apple)

All i'm asking is.

Will it allow me to use GTP?

Because every other browser seems to hate GTP, apart from micro****'s memory eating featurless browser IE6.

Doesn't seem unreasonable to me. I like Mozilla because it doesn't crash (unlike IE).

Um, Netscape was built off Mozilla, not the other way round.

Opera sucks. It's standard supports are worse than that of Mozilla and IE's. In other words, it may have trouble displaying sites that use the latest web standards (XHTML, etc). I don't care about skins. So long as it isn't completely dull (like that SlimBrowser). Lastly, it doesn't display GTP correctly.

Oh, and why pay for an ad-free version of Opera, when you can download other skinnable, ad-free browsers (with better web standards support) for free?

Yup, i'm using Mozilla now.
I think this is what put me off using it, although I do seem to use it to browse other sites. God this text box sucks. Also it seems a little slower in loading the images on the page than IE.
