Races:
This series will have qualifying and then the Endurance Race right after.
Race Day Procedure:
Lobby Opening:
The lobby will open 50 minutes before the Qualifier start to enhance practice. The host will post a message in the thread saying that the room is open. Lobbies will be “Club lobbies” so be sure to add the “ORA WEC” Club. Note if you have not added the Club before the lobby is open and the race starts you will not be able to race. The host under no circumstances have to reopen the lobby for a competitor. You must be in the lobby before specs check if you arrive after spec check and quali countdown has started you will not race. If you arrive after spec check and before the countdown you will be able to race.
Spec Checks:
Before starting qualifying every driver will be asked to enter and stay in pits. The stewards will then check on the member list that the drivers are on correct compounds, correct weight, power limits as well as PP numbers. Once your car is checked you must stay in pits until directed otherwise.
You are not allowed to leave the pits after spec checks.
Be extra cautious of your car specs, you’ll have plenty of time to setup your car, so if there’s something that you don’t understand about the specs, please say something on the forum. You are expected to arrive in the race room with the correct specs. People with wrong specs will get an instant disqualification and won’t be allowed to run the race. Don't try to cheat, we have experienced people in the group and any attempt of any kind of cheating will be spotted!
Qualifying:
Qualifying will be done using in-game qualifier. You will have a 20 minute qualifying session for every race. You can qualify on any tire RH or RM
(Please note that whatever tire compound you start the session on is the one that will be selected when you line up on the grid.)
Rolling Start/Race:
A staggered double-file line is used for the rolling start for the first lap after which the race will begin at the pre-determined starting point which will be posted OP on the forum.
Both The LMP Class and GTC class must be separated during the rolling start. The pole sitter for the GTC class must give at least 4 car lengths to the LMP class.
- (First time pole sitters will be contacted for confirmation of the following regulations)
- Once the GT6 race countdown has completed and the race event has begun all drivers must hold position and wait for confirmation from the host to proceed. Use your handbrakes, sit silently, report any suspicious latency between cars or lag jolting/skipping. After the host has given the go ahead all drivers will begin to slowly form up in qualifying order. The leader must act as herder, they must not prematurely advance from the group, it is their job to keep the pace slow enough until all cars are in position then proceed to formation speed.
- Even pace at 100 kmh / 62 mph. (Some tracks may vary and we will warn you on Drivers Briefing)
- The pole leader must wait for the grid to line up behind them completely on the start straight before starting the race by applying full throttle at the pre-determined track race starting mark (may not always be the regular start/finish line look on the OP of the forum to see the Start/Finish).
- Any way that you could use in purpose to warm your tires is strictly prohibited! (weaving, handbrake, etc)
- You must not overlap the car ahead of you.
- Do not pass any car until you're past the point the pole sitter started the race at.
- The LMP class and GTC class will have separate starts. When the LMP pole sitter reaches the start/finish line then the race will start for the LMP class. The GTC race will start once the pole sitter for the GTC class reaches the start/finish line.
- Jump starters will be given warnings or time penalties depending on severity.
- If a driver is damaged on formation then the damaged driver must communicate this through text chat and continue at a reasonable speed to the pit area. The other cars will continue on as normal and the damaged car(s) can join the group as they come around for their first lap. At this point the formation lap will continue on for a second lap after which the race will begin. After this, no more "formation restarts" will be acceptable and the affected drivers must either retire or start far behind the group. Drivers experiencing extreme lag will be asked to leave so the other drivers can race.
- If, for any reason, a driver misses the formation start and stays behind still on the track the race will not go on, it must be restarted to eliminate the obstacle.
- Teams must use both sets of compounds during the race. The RH and RM.
Disconnecting from Race:
To rage and retire from race is not allowed and will cause a penalty or race suspension. If you get disconnected however you will receive last place points.
Disconnections are treated as mechanical failures that occur in real life racing. They are unfortunate but are part of real life racing. If a driver disconnects he will be classified as last driver of the currently running field and receive points accordingly. No matter the race distance completed.
Example (race with 16 drivers):
A driver disconnects. He will receive points for last place of the currently running field, i.e. points for 16th place
A second driver disconnects. The driver also receives last place points of the currently running field, i.e. points for 15th place. (one of the 16 drivers had already disconnected before)
After Race:
We suggest all drivers to save the replays of the race after the race. Stewards may not see an incident so if you save replay you may show them.

Rules
Multi Class racing: As Drivers in a multi class series where there is multi class racing divers must respect one another.
GTC Driver: If you see LMP1 car(s) approaching behind you keep to your racing line and do not pull over or slow down in front of them. It's the LMP1 drivers responsibility to get around you safely. However, if a LMP1 car has made taken a committed line to overtake you and you chose to move over to his line then the penalty will be given to you. If you are in a battle with another GTC driver and LMP1 car(s) are approaching keep racing and let the LMP1 drivers find the safest way around you.
LMP1 Drivers: You must respect your fellow LMP1 drivers and especially the GTC drivers if you cause any incident with a GTC driver chances are you will be given a time penalty at the end of the race. Unless you have committed yourself to line to overtake a GTC driver and that GTC drivers moves over to your line and wrecks you then the penalty will be given to the GTC driver.
Any of this from the LMP1 Drivers will lead to a sever time penalty. Respect each other
Drivers are not allowed to go outside the racing surface. Unless to avoid a wreck. Corner cutting is not allowed. ¾ of your car must remain on the racing surface or the white line. You can go wide when exiting a corner, but note that if stewards believe you are going to wide you will be penalized.
Incidents:
Any Incident that happens on track must be reported to a steward. Look at "After Race" on how to report Incidents. From there Stewards will review incidents to give the proper IPO or penalty.
