I just saw this movie, and am disappointed. It had good actors (Jack Black is hilarious) and potential, but then...MTV made it. It had BAD songs played to the point of insanity (how many times can one take Crazy Town? You'll have to hear it six times here) and those oh-so-lovable-parts-that-make-you-cringe-in-a-bad-way in abundance. Colin Hanks is a great actor, and Black plays a great oaf, but not even them can save it from the MTV disease. It's a good thing I didn't know it was an MTV film before I saw it, because I don't know if I even would have done so.

I just saw it last night, and didn't think it was too bad. Some funny parts.

I'll give it a

Maybe it was the girl I was with at the movies that made it soo good. Hot, very hot. Hopefully Magic's new girl! ;)

Well, I thought it had some parts that were good, and it's almost worth seeing because of them, but it was too much of a cliche teen movie. If it didn't have the crappy songs and cheesy parts to it, which came often, it would have been good. But, being the MTV movie that it was, it was disappointing in my book. You know, I don't think that I have ever seen a good MTV movie...there almost as bad as SNL ones...

The only MTV movie that I ever liked was "Election" (1999). Funny, strange, and atypical of their usual trash. Not much of a classic, though. Otherwise, I haven't even watched the cable channel since 1997.
