Order by date in quick search?

Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to get a date sorting function in the quick search dialog?

I.e. to go from this

to something like this

It's an option under advanced search.

Yes, and that's what I usually use (advanced search). But the point of having it under quick search is that then I don't have to go into the advanced search.

To be able to sort posts by date in the current thread I have to open a new tab/window, go to advanced search (Search threads) and then scroll down a lot to get to the correct thread. And then tick Order by Date.
That could be avoided by having the possibility to just stay in the thread in question and use the quick search (with a sort option). Just a little more convenient, which I suppose is the point of the quick search.
