Original GT Force wheel & GT 4

Hopefully this hasn't come up, but I haven't seen it. First let me say that I love the site and the forum and have recently found myself re-addicted to GT after buying GT 4 used for 6 bucks. I broke out the GT Force wheel (the blue & black one) that I bought the day GT 3 came out and it works fine, but I noticed that if I lift off the gas pedal, it automatically applies the inverse amount of brake. For example, if I let off the gas 1/4 of the way, I get 1/4 brake. Really weird and I don't remember this happening with GT 3. It doesn't actually "feel" like the brake is being pressed, but it shows in the indicators and the brake lights light up on the replays. Any ideas, or has anyone experienced this? Does anyone even use that wheel any more? Lol..
