A new season begins on the 11th of April 2010. Details below.

The Car
Car: Nissan Silvia S15 (dealership model)
Tuning: Race Modified + Full modifications (weight, power etc)
Performance Points: 575
Tyre limit: Racing Soft

The championship will consist of 2 driver teams. Fastest drivers are teamed with the slowest.
2 driver teams (Teams to decide their car colour. Rim colours are personal choice)​

Race Day
Day: Every Monday night
Qualifying: 9:00pm (Sydney Time)
Race Time: 9:30pm (Sydney Time)
Duration: 1 hour (30-45 laps)
Host: My Lounge (PSN: Oni_chan)

The Tracks

The series is 8 rounds with 1 round each week (8 weeks).

Round 1: Laguna Seca - 11th April
Round 2: Special Stage Route 5 - 18th April
Round 3: Trial Mountain - 23rd May
Round 4: Rome (Sprint Race) - 30th May
Round 5: Suzuka Circuit - 6th June
Round 6: Indy Road Course - 13th June
Round 7: Nurburgring 24hr- 20h June
Round 8: Grand Valley Speedway - 27th June

The Rules
Track Edge: Real
Penalties: Strong
Damage: Heavy
Driver Aids: All OFF except ABS

All races MUST be started on Racing Hard Tyres. After lap 5 you can change to racing softs.
Failure to comply results in a point deduction of -20pts

Note: If you receive damage that needs to be repaired via pits you CANNOT change to softs unless it's on lap 6.
Example; you receive damage lap 3 and need to pit. You must stay on racing hards.

Corner cutting Rules
1st offence: Warning
2nd offence: Point deduction
3rd offence: Point deduction & Disqualified (Given a DNF)

Ramming Not tolerated!! - Instant DQ and removal from the Championship.

1st = 25 points
2nd = 20 points
3rd = 16 points

14th = 2 points
15th = 1 point
16th = 0 point

Qualifying on Pole = 5 points
Fastest lap during race = 1 point

Prizes

There will be both driver and team prizes. The Driver that wins the series gets a prize as does the team that wins.

1st Up to 1 million car from the dealership
2nd Up to 500,000 car from dealership
3rd Up to 250,000 car from dealership

Prize Note: The credit limit can be spent on any single car from the dealership the way you see fit.
(Example; 1st place wants a Ford GT + Max Modifications = Under 1 mil so is ok!)

Yeah it's been some great racing in those championships.. very close, clean and fast racing. Looking forward to this S15RM as there will be no difference in the cars so will make for some very interesting racing!

For everyone as i have already listed the Qualifier details up there be sure to get in some practice/testing before Sunday. I wouldn't try to hard to pull the fastest times just put down something your comfortable with and most importantly consistent with.

As most of you know i'm online almost every night, i tend to have testing/tuning going on in my lounge with racing going on in between. So your all welcome to join if you see me in my lounge.

I do think setups will be a bit more tight lipped and reserved for the team only this series but i'm always willing to give advice and setups.

haha.. well ill just have to hold onto my camber and toe settings.. like they make much of a difference compared to suspension.. haha

Yeah was an awesome battle in the GT300 race last night. For 35 laps we were swapping places constantly and in the end even with you getting on the power to early the draft pulled you back up to me before the line only to finish 0.244 behind me. Talk about exciting racing.. 1 hr of racing and it was that close in the end.

I'm looking forward to the one-make races. GT300/GT500 are great but there are big differences in the strengths and weaknesses of each car. As we found last night trying the slipstream lost-on-drugz...
Noticed we have not had as much interest as we would have liked. I can't say enough how good the racing is with this group of drivers. If you are not signed up and reading this, seriously consider giving it a go. We are happy for new, clean racers and have a broad mix of abilities through the field so no matter how fast, or not you are there is always close battles going on during the race! One-make will tighten it up even more I expect too! Can't wait... Roll-on Sunday. 👍

Other good possibilities would be;

Yeah, that's exactly my point! The S15RM Championship will eliminate that inconsistency between the cars. 👍

To be honest how about completly different tracks than the gt500 / gt300 like trial mounting . cape ring peripery / special stage 5 , deep forest, suzuka seems ok, autum ring resverse. high speed ring change weather! , etc.

Not a fan of drivin in the rain.. usually spreads out the field too much, then there goes the close racing!

One thing worth considering is possibly extending the length of some races to 1.5hrs - 2hrs, just so fuel comes into play, and more than 1 pit stop (maybe 2 pit stops)... I know its long, but hey, thats a real enduro... maybe start earlier? dunno.. what do you guys think?

to be honest mate were all good clean drivers that dont cut and the replay gets watched youlld be able to tell by thier first sector splits aswell, and u have to have some rain tracks mate !!! difficult racing easyer to spin go off etc and ppl to catch back up..and thats my strong point wet racing =) tyres are the most important thing for wear..
i havnt yet raced grand valley in the gt300 / gt500 so im all game for that track being in thier,

I think rome is an excellent track but u do 1 minute lap times it would be carnage for the leaders coming up egulary on lapped traffic!!

Thats the way boys! Keep offering up those suggestions. The track list isn't 100% yet but it's good to see you guys putting down tracks you will enjoy racing on. Makes my job alot easier now to decide the remaining tracks.

another thing which could spice it up a little is a few sprint races, like the V8's used to do. Say 2 or 3 races, reverse finijshing order from race1, 15-20 laps...??

I think I'm on Oni's side with this one... Not that the suggestion isn't valid but as lost said about Rome, Deep Forest is a very short lap and may cause problems with lapped traffic although it is a good circuit to race on. It is unfortunate that the cut through is possible and can't be blocked off. But ultimately I think although both Rome and Deep Forest are great tracks for sprint racing, but their lap-times may cause issues with traffic on longer enduros.

This could work, however if you knew you could manage no better than 2nd then you have zero incentive to qualify because ultimately you get zero reward and start 2nd last... I know I would not put in 100% unless I had a good shot at pole in this sort of scenario...
