Dan, understand your damage frustrations mate and scrutineering will have to take look, that’s racing. To be fair, you completely punked me on a qualifying lap in the tunnel by coming across my line when I was on a hot one* and you where just cruzin. Despite my best efforts to avoid, I had no-where to go. I know stuff happens and not saying that was intentional at all, but I do make every effort to get out of the way of folks by watching the fast approaching arrows on the track map.

In saying this DQ'ing yourself should only be done when you know you have broken the rules (me last series @ Sarthe for example), not when you cop engine damage.. I think it's in the GTP rules that you pull over out of harms way and wait till race finish.

Also, stewards will also have to take a look at two other things I found odd. Your overtaking in race 1. Questionable how you went to pass people whether their there or not.

2. You continued to make comments towards Stig even though Oni said to stop. Referring to your commenting during Race 1.

The grass technique is more of a physics glitch how it improves turn in by widening the track and when you time it right improves handling by throwing you into the apex. I for one think it should be outlawed because it's not necessarily against the rules, but the spirit of the game.

I hate negative comments, but I had to give my 2c since I have been lurking this thread I know Dan has been the root of most arguments.

We had a good battle towards the end of Race 1... You'll get there

Ok so here are some pics from the after party on Monday night! Huge turn out and thanks to the many that participated in the races.
So here we start at Daytona for some no rules Nascar, Look at the massive line up waiting for the lights to drop.

As I was sitting in pole, I got out to an early lead, until bloody stig rear ended me into turn one sending me into an uncontrollable spin! Note the huge lock up stig encountered and the blooms of smoke from his tyres.

After catching up to the pack again from my spin, I quickly took back the lead! Until I hit the wall at max speed letting most of the field past me.

As I said MOST of the field, because before I could re-join, Oni decided to drive me deeper into the wall and send a message as he drove off.

After I caught back up AGAIN from my amazing driving, we all decided to pit from the mass of damage throughout the race.

After a mad dash to the finish after the pit stop, I managed to take the lead, but Rusty didn’t like this very much so decided to try one final move to take 1st place back…but it was too little too late.

To Stig, I was typing a message, thats why I was slowing down to idol pace, I never hit Rota or blocked you on purpose, I was so shocked that someone would have the audacity to call me a 🤬 that I was a little rattled and wanted more knowledge of the situation, so I paused when I left the pits, which explains the blocking, also didn't help that my keyboard's toasted.

I remedied the situation and preceded to overcome the possibly dirty lap I did early in the session. I am not used to the 'white line only' rule and was unaware I was gaining a very slight advantage in turn 4. I am used to the 'any hard surface is considered track' rule (except for the obvious cuts like at Deep Forest), aka WRS rules basically, so forgive me for my oversight and the resulting very slight indiscretion.

I was following you more than you were following me, particularly early on when the infringement was occurring, so the you following me for 4 laps is absolute nonsense.

I followed you for 2-3 laps, and it was enough to know what you were doing. So, if what you're saying is true, why was there no apology for getting in roota's way. You knew you got in his way, and 99% of people who do stuff like that on accident would say i'm sorry mate, but you just raced off. Same with me. How about you get over this particular word, it's literally that, just a word. I'm effectively calling you a female anatomy, how is that so offensive to you? You're carrying on like a pork chop mate.


EDIT: Am I the only one who thinks this is just a bit sus? Blocked me on a hot lap, took roota on a hot lap, almost took him out at Madrid for something that didn't happen, pushed your way through the field in race 1 on monday. Things happen for sure, but when it's like 3-4 incidents, it starts to seem like it's not an accident, it's actually the driver.

If its directed at me then...The resultant driving I displayed after I was rammed off in the first corner, may have been of poor quality because I sustained damage to my vehicle, making in very very difficult to time passes, due to having to compensate about 30 degrees everywhere, I misssed oni's message saying to discontinue the discussion. Goodbye.

I wasnt even aware I hit Rota or blocked you, as I was too busy trying to correct the situation and I am a poor multi tasker, to be honest, no need for appology even If it happened, as an appology would be a kick in the face to an already ruined lap that you cant get back, a racing incident. Don't worry, because you cant beat me on the track, you try and beat me with words, typical childish behaviour.

Rammed eh? Strong choice of words. Rusty got a tap, and he gave you a tap, and lag over compensated, and it sent you into the sand. I don't see what's so difficult about not passing in one place, and waiting for another oppotunity. It's like you feel they aren't worthy of a nice, clean overtake.

I'm sorry mate, I honestly can not be bothered stirrin' stuff up even more but you did pull out in front of me, whether it was because you had pause on or not, you immediately pulled away just after our cars hit. If you were typing a message at the time, why didn't anything come up after you cut me off? After cutting me off, why no sorry? you were obviously on an outlap, a quick pull over to the side of the road wouldn't have hurt. And if you ARE typing a message in the middle of qual, do as taital said, pull to the side and type, don't ruin everyone else's qual because you are having a discussion with stig or anyone else.

Pretty sick of having to provide evidence to certain drivers of what they did like im in a court session... there is someone in this series that remind me A LOT of a bloke named Dilluzion...

There's something call a 'pit-lane' .. Which when drove into it 'fixes' your damage

I am sorry rota for making unintentional contact with you, the discussion took over my full attention, and the driving was poor, as I said before, **** happens, a racing incident that can't be observed again because no one can review it. I certainly can't remember it.

Stig, weather it was intentional or not, it was still a ram, because it was sufficient enough for my car to sustain damage. Enough talking, whats done is done, and absolutely crap race for me, and I missed the 2nd race, **** happens.

There's something call a 'pit-lane' .. Which when drove into it 'fixes' your damage

Pulling into the pits would be just like pulling over the side and watching the butterflies fly passed your bonnet, as that would be game over. I managed to pass half the field with the sustained damage, and pretty much all cleanly.
