Ok to answer everyone's question regarding the mods. You CAN install the stage turbos or any mod that can be removed. You CANNOT install the Engine Stages/Weight Stages etc that are not removable.

Dont worry to much as when December comes you will be able to buy these cars from their respective dealers (apparently in Decembers update) so when that happens you can buy another one to fully (sick) tune em how you see fit and leave the 'stock' one for the series.

@Rusty - Nope i haven't tried any of the kart spaces yet. Maybe tonight I'll rip em up.

Hey hey, sounds good mate...Rota and I had a bit of a spin at Kart Space I...was alot of fun.

I was so bummed when i found out you can only race karts on Kart Space.
I wanted to drift there, but Polyphony probably thought that it wasn't very realistic to have an RX7 belting round an indoor kart track sideways, could be fun though...

Only had time for a few laps, but Spa looks awesome :)

But doesnt gt5 have a no tuning option in race management now? So I hope they only look at engine tuning not driving improvements

That only works for factory road cars. The TC's are stripped out racers so they're not 'standard'. So even if you set that option, you won't be able to enter the track lol.

I won't be racing because there's no way I can get out of work on Wednesday's.. But all I know it would be a $&$^& to police.

I've being having net problems all day... I keep getting disconnected/kicked from my own lobby...

There was a mother of a storm last night and everything is playing up.

Sorry Oni, what were you smoking with that car and that track. I'm so angry at how slow I had to go to make corners

That was just ... well downright bad. No other word for it.

Cmon, something needs to be done about this now. Dholland blatantly took out 4 cars.

On my screen he had no damage until he turned left into the pack lol. Then with the damage he pushed anyone who had to go passed him out of the way, lap 1 you lived upto your reputation holland well dine
 
I watched the replay quickly.. only minor front left wheel damage on my screen. Will await confirmation from Fryz, Stig and any others that watched it.
 
I dont know what to say.

Oni hit me in turn 3. Personally i think he should have lifted on that one. He wasnt even half way along my car and he didnt brake. I didnt even know he would try to put it there. That move gave me slight damage in my right wheel.

All that matters little though as Holland hit me a few corners later sending me into the wall and to an abrupt stop. (from my replay he only had some left wheel damage from smashing bonson)

Then i just run around to grab points.

That whole first lap was just silly. you Cant expect to pass on every slight run you get. This track does not have enough room to run 2 wide through the first sector. Common sense means you need to yeild and tuck in behind the car in front.

Anyway I dont want to post much more until Ive had more time to think about it.

Anyway guys like I said at the end of the race. I've had fun but that will be my last race in this series, I'm off to Melbourne for a week playing Rugby and then to Perth for a month to get all coursed up before moving to Sydney at the end of the year.

On tonight's race I (like everybody it seems) coped some damage in the first lap shenanigans, I bumped some I got bumped some.

Had a good running battle with Evan1080 for most of the race and it came down to strategy I think, I held out on pitting just that little bit longer which had me on better tyres at the end. Spinner and mrtaital were also in that battle for much of the time with positions going backwards and forwards between us:)

Small_Fryz I appreciate you giving us some room as you could have held us up for a lot longer if you wanted to:tup:

Anyway guys again, thanks for the memories:dopey: I'll still be hanging around the thread, and we may catch up during the New Year:sly:

Yeah my bad.. wasn't paying attention. To busy looking at what was happening in front of us.

Though i did receive a nice shunt to the outside of turn 1. Wasn't expecting that.

Oh yes, Sorry about that one... Stiggy was on the inside and we were 3 wide. i stuck as close to him as I could, unfortunately your line was perfect if we were 2 wide as i would have had plenty of room on the inside to miss you as you tightened up, but when you turned a bit sharper on exit with stiggy on my inside i had no where to go.

Sorry again mate. I really dont mind about our little thing. Im just happy to see you finished strong.
The incident with Dan however. I just can't... don't know... explain?

What is others opinion of that?

I started 10th of 11, by end of lap 1 I was third, I took a shallow line onto that sharp short straight which gave me the best line to avoid the cloud of crap that formed
 
Sorry Oni mate, I completely forgot about last nights race, I've just moved house and I'm a little out of whack.
If I'd remembered I would have let you know so you could try to organise a wildcard driver.

Sounds like it might have been one to forget though?
