How about that game eh?

I always follow the 'Bucks closely, since they are my home-state team. We creamed In the first half. Ted Ginn Jr. proved himself a force to be reckoned with by catching the first 2 touchdown passes made by Troy Smith in the first half.

Garrett Wolfe led the Huskies' offense, racking up 285 total yards. Wolfe had 171 yards on 26 carries and 114 yards and a TD on five receptions for NIU.

Smith hooked up with Ginn to end the first two drives with TDs. Their first scoring connection came from five yards out, capping an eight-play, 66-yard drive.

Larry Grant picked off an NIU pass and returned it to the NIU 43-yard line. Five plays later, Chris Wells ran in from eight yards out on the first play of the second quarter, making it a 28-0 game.

Antonio Pittman sealed NIU's fate with a touchdown dive for a 35-6 lead.

Wolfe finally gave NIU a touchdown, capping a 10-play, 71-yard drive with a four-yard reception from Horvath. The two-point conversion failed.

Overall, it was a really great day for OSU. Let's just hope all the other games turn out like this.

Ohio State did look pretty good, though I didn't see that game. Northern Illinois is a pretty good MAC team, but the Big Ten was much better. Ohio State's going down to Austin, TX next.

I do think that you take a look at my weekly college football threads and make some comments there. At least we can have a general ground to discuss college football, including your favorite schools and conferences. Nice of you to comment on this.

Of course they're going to win when they play cup-cake games against MAC opponents like that. I'd be pretty disappointed if I were you that the game wasn't a complete blowout, which a mis-matched game like that should be.

I can't wait until the Texas Longhorns knock them down a few pegs.
