could someone try and tell me whatevery different settings and options affects the cars?

Browse some of the topics here - start with general sounding ones with titles like "understeer problem" or "tuning LSD" rather than specific cars. There are two years' worth of posts here. Look past the first page, perhaps, and see what you can find.
