After some time here at gtp I realized some gt2 cars are seldom mentioned. Wether it´s for not buying/winning/trying them or simply not liking them I don´t know but where are the audis? The s4 a bloody beast in hp AND handling; where is the tt LM?!?!? The lancia delta cars the 206 rally the bmw 328ci the LISTER the venturi 600 LM the espace f1 and clio v6 the tigra ice race car the sxara rally car, heck even the vector cars get overlooked.
I´m aware that most seasoned players know or go with these; I´m speaking for the newcomers wich find themselves in heaven with civics skylines and escudos wich are not bad cars but they´re not the only ones either... so next time you´re thinking of buying a nismo pennzoil to had to the wardrobe next to the calsonic, unisia and arta skylines buy an audi tt LM and you´ll be surprised as as well as pleased, it even comes with good base setups no work no nothing.

Then there are the critical cases. Great cars with a stability issue: the race jags the esprit gt1 and the race modified elise gt1 the speed 12 the gt 90 and other small cases.
TWO simple things do the trick: lowering the damper (bound and rebound) and aplying ascc (active stability controller). Some cars require different values and steadiness can be improved with some lsd and some more suspension work but basically to get rid of that stupid unberable handling those two things will work wonders. Simple simple simple.

There, hope that helps.

The FTO trampio is overlooked...only 378hp...500.000 cr

But let me tell you this little bomb is enough to win red rock in the all star races, it took me 4 laps to get my way through to the leader. I followed him so closely I could see the sweat on the back of his neck and I managed to overtake to toyota GT-one in the 5th lap, just before the tunnel and I won this bloody race. Now that's what I call a challenge...one mistake and it's all over. By the way, it's the only replay I saved...my best race ever. I'm in love with this car!

My settings are the following....as when I bought it except for the gearbox.

Another example is the Venturi 300, 0-200 kph in barely 9 secs...a bit tricky to handle (MR) but maaaaan....it's gorgeous! Looks like a bad ass ferrari! (i got one yellow with mid power and one red with everything maxed).

Last but not least...VW beetle 2.0...you should try this one!

Yeah I have those three. I haven´t tested properly the beattle but the other two I know well: the the fto trampio is indeed a little big surprise; I didn´t included him because although yet slightly in the shadow this car is already ackowledged by a good deal of players. The venturi 300 is a cool car just isn´t that fit for the "overachiver" description... but the looks make up for it

Tommy Kaira ZZ-S only 279hp but it weights 500 odd kg, its also a MR so it handles fantasticly. Can win races with power limits more than twice its own without much problem. I love it :) .

I wont mention the T word, i promise

Integra's are awesome little cars, and are often forgotten as the civics ugly sister, but thefy can give many bigger hp cars a scare.

The Amemiya RX7 is also a bargain at 500000cr. Not too sure how it shapes up against the trampio, but for the same money, hey

The zz-s is a cool little car, I´ve seen the AI doing amazing stuff with him, too amazing sometimes if you ask me but maybe it´s the lightweight that makes him a great speeder.

In the integra case I wouldn´t go so far as to call him overlooked, maybe somewhat shadowed sometimes by the civic but at any rate he´s a regular.

But you got me curious with the amemyia; that lower horspower rx7 never crossed my hand, maybe I´ll give him a try but I guessing that it should feel like the other racing rx7s.
Oh and by the way, I never consider money an issue ;)

the Amemiya is a polar opposite that infamous gt-c. It is a sweet handler with stacks of grunt from a 460hp engine

The 306 S16 (GTI) is a very good one to customize. Stay away from the ugly race mod, it doesn't need it to handle superbly.

Looking at the car: slim, not tremendously steroided, nice lines good color and decals. At the tracks: great acceleration and top speed for his hp rating; behaviour: good boy, agile nimble good brakes with a rather fun controlable racing rx-7s lock. Take the foot of the gas and no uuuuuundersteer, hit the gas in a tight one and no come-here-no-wait-WAIT!-damn oversteer.
I like him :)

T´would to see how a 5xx hp supped up amemya would hold his ground against the rx-7 gt-c lm... but I like him just the way he his.

Congrats, you found an overlooked car for me.
