Does anyone know a way to find out if a car has paddle shifters or not? I don't want assume, but I would think all of the high HP race cars have them. I'm not so sure about the lesser GT cars though. I race MT with the DFGT and would like the most realistic experience. Is there a known list that indicates?

Most cars back in the GT4 era still had regular sequential gearboxes and not paddles. None of the LMP cars had paddle shifters.

Dubble Poast to add:

Forgot about this, but the V-12 Vanquish in GT3 had paddle shifters and a 7-speed manumatic transmission. I see that the production model of Vanquis (2004) had a 6-speed transmission, but I don't see it indicated whether the paddle shift was retained, or if the shifter was moved to its traditional place in the console.

The last iteration of the '05 Ford GT, built up by Dorran and raced through the 2011 Le Mans, sported paddle-shift. To be accurate, you would race 12 hours paddle-shifting, sit in the pit for twenty minutes, then finish the race stick-shifting.

Because the paddle-shift mechanism irreparably malfunctioned (don't know how) part-way through the 2011 LM24hr and it took 20 minutes to convert back. They did finish.
