I think it's one car advertised on 2 websites, which explains why the same picture was used.

EDIT: And why the prices are the same on both sites.

Could be middle men type deals. The dealers attempting to sell the car might not actually have the car, but when they have a buyer will work a dealer with the person/dealer/whatever currently in possession of the car.

It's easiest to look at it this way: "Whoever finds a buyer first wins the sale"

I used to work for, and still do random side jobs for, a dealer that works exactly like that.

They bring customers to gigantic wearhouses owned by the Russian Mafia filled wall to wall with cars and he just says "Go find one you like."

He doesn't own a single car in the place, but when the customer picks one out, he works a deal with the owners of the car and then the customer. He basically buys it from the current owner and resells it to the customer (at a higher price).

I don't know. I think a guy with a green avatar might have mentioned something like that.

But how does that work with more than one location? Is it just the one that sells first gets the deal?

Sounds reasonable.

Or the car could be in a private collection, and be for sale by a private owner. I doubt an owner of a car like that would advertise on Auto Trader, but the concept could be the same.

it would be cool to find such a car there though. It would seem more accessible, too. None of this rich man only stuff.

We had a Carrera GT (Silver) in the wearhouse once. Naturally I had to go put my fingerprints all over it.

Along with a Diablo VT (Yellow), C6 Z06 (Silver), Ferrari 360 on blingtastic rims (Black), Ferrari 348 (Blue) with a really rusty badge, and a few Bentleys.

It's quite an experience to walk through a wearhouse full of 500 to 1000 cars.

alright guys thanks for clearing that up, now begs the question, why is the owner selling it?

its one of a kind, and an absolutely stunning car, could easily go for more than $1.2m, thats only £610,000.

So who has 1.2 million they can let me borrow? I just hope to god some rapper doesn't buy this and puts ugly dubs on it.

He probaly thought that it wont match his shirts or wont go fast enough.
