After watching SuperGT's amazing completion video of GT Sport and realizing while I'm at level 43 of 50, I've only won 1/3 of the credits needed to finish level 50 - to say nothing of the time required. To say it's "not happening" is an epic understatement.

Now seeing the realworld MT cost of cars rise up to 4X in GT7 ($20 CND for one car...??), and coming to understand I will never own the really desirable cars as they simply require too much time/$. In Sport my total credits won stands at something like 28M, so no 250 GTO for me.

I wonder if PD may release tracks as paid DLC and what you'd be willing to pay. Seeing what they're charging for cars (which I don't buy even in Sport) I'm not hopeful I would be that willing. Hopefully they're free, but that doesn't appear to be the road PD is driving.

GT has never, in its life, charged for tracks/car packs.

EDIT: Apparently they did. My mistake.

False. They did in GT5.

False. They did in GT5.

I stand corrected. Must have blocked that from memory LOL.

I ain't paying anything until they fix the base game. Priorities should be on that first before toppling more content on top of it all. We don't want a GTA Online, where every new content they release breaks older content.

I think it's becoming clear that, for Sony, tracks (or bundles) will not be free - with or without Kaz's endorsement. And seeing the direction the cars went, I'm guessing they won't be cheap. Sigh........

I paid for all the DLC in GT5, and will do so in GT7, IF the pricing and content is around the same price as it was in GT5. If they start asking for $10 for a track instead of $5, i'm out. Or if they charge $12 for six cars instead of $5.99, i'm also out.

So if they do bring paid DLC back, it basically better be reasonable prices if they want my money.
I've got too many other things to be spending it on, especially after spending $175 on a GT game i've been waiting for since GT6. Which so far is only half the game i was expecting at even the lowest expectation level (i believe the set in stone release date was Sony's idea, knowing that PD needed more time to 'complete' the game content further but Sony would have wanted to just get the game out to start making money with microtransactions and game sales sooner rather than later - prove me wrong...).
