Hello, I'm planning on getting an new PC soon as mine is getting pretty outdated and useless for gaming. I don't know a great deal about PC's and what is worth the money and what is a ripoff. I also don't have a huge buget and can't afford a beastly PC that will last for years, my intention is a buy a PC that is good enough to run "most" current games (i'm not a big PC gamer anyway just casual) I know what i'm planning on buying will probably look like garbage to a hardcore PC gamer.

A friend of mine recomended this to one to me:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-344-OE

Not sure if the link will stay with all the options I selected but here is the list;

AMD X4 640 3.0Ghz CPU, AMD 760G Motherboard, 1600MHz DDR3 Memory, DirectX 11 Graphics Card, 500GB HDD + Upgrade Options, DVDRW, Choice of Windows Operating System, 430W Corsair PSU

8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Duel Channel Memory
Samsung 840 series 120GB SATA 6GB/s Solid State Drive
AMD HD 7770 1024MB GDDR5 Graphics Card

Total : £430.60

(I dont need to purchace a Windows OS as I already have a Windows 7 CD to use)

The only games I currently use my PC for is GTA SA & rFactor, that PC I linked above should run those two fine, but i'm hoping it will be good enough to run games like GTA 4 (and GTA 5 if that releases for PC) AMRA 2 / DayZ

Is that PC worth the money? Could I get something better for the same price or similar? Or would it be a good purchase for what I need?

That sounds like a pretty good deal, although I don't know what I'm talking about as I have little experience when it comes to price/performance.

But I'm sure you can run most games with that, won't max all of 'em out though.
