There doesn't need to be a limit imo, not that i'll ever hit 20 mil anyway.

I've hit 20 Million a few times. I bought the Lamborghini Miura for 15 mil and got back up to 20 Million in a couple of weeks. Just do the Pro Blue Moon Bay Race with a n300 or n400 car and you'll net over 300,000 + clean driving bonus.

I've always thought it was dumb to have cars that cost the same as the credit limit, definitely need some cushion. With that said, Ive hit 20 million several times, and didn't have any cars left to buy, under 15 million, so I said screw it, and bought the Daytona tonight. Already had the Jag, so didn't need it for the Nostalgia race, just wanted to get rid of some credits without spending all of them.

When I play GTS I only really prepare and race in Race C in Sport mode, I gain 85,000 credits max from Race C if I get a clean race bonus. I always blow my credits on random group race cars just to try them out, I think I've hit 2 million once or twice since I bought the game, lol.

I'm really not into grinding GT League for credits, I wish sport mode paid more though!

I can't remember the last AAA game I've played in 10 years that didn't have a crazy money cheat/exploit immediately after launch.

A 20 million hard cap is a much easier solution than punishing players, and scrambling to patch glitches. Sure enough, GTSport had several money glitches too. Like the pit lane glitch or the endurance races that let you pull your Miata over and park for the night.

Sure, you could get around the money cap by buying a bunch of expensive cars to re-sell later. But that's not really efficient. Overall the money cap doesn't bother me too much

Lol, that reminds me of Forza Motorsport on the Xbox 360. Back in the day I had several hundred million in credits in Forza just from wheeling and dealing expensive cars in the auction house, no cheats or exploits needed. Good times.

Made more insulting due to the fact that GT6 do have 50 million cap.

The fact that originally GTS didn't come up with 20 million such cars, reduced price on some cars especially the LMP1/Group C, and much harder to attain credits may have to do with it.

GT5 did have a 20 mil. cap.

They went to 50 mil. in GT6 I presume to accomodate the VGT program?

GT6 did have a LOT of 20 mil. cars... I mean I squirm when I see my Gt6 garage value.

GT5 has four 20mil cars....

..... GT6 has five 20mil cars. Excluding the XJ13 Chrome Line for obvious reason.

I wouldn't say it's that many.

Also back in GT5 days lots of people moaned about this. PD aleviates this in GT6 by increasing the cap but retracted in GTSport. No idea who thought its a good idea regardless in the first place.

But it is not a real life game, and a 50 million credit limit is fine, so there is no need to have a no credit limit. GT6 had a 50 mill credit limit and that was no problem for that game.

Give me a valid reason for having a credit limit then

Well my valid reason for having a credit limit is this, we are so use to having a credit limit in a game, so why change it to a no credit limit, and like I said it before it is not a real life game. I just want PD to lift the credit limit to 50 mill.

It took me 2 months to save enough for the Daytona.

GT6 was good for its 50 million limit but there was that much credits available to win, they essentially lost value and the cars you bought became disposable. A 20 million cap gives the cars value again in my opinion.

That's not really a reason though is it, it's been there from before is just neither here nor there. Hey Fallout has millions of bugs ah well they've been there for years.

I don't think they need to increase the limit. I do think they should double or triple the payout of every race. PD doesn't seem to realize that if they are stingy with the credits, a lot of people won't even try to get those cars. We should also be able to win cars for events and sell them for credits like old GT.

Well set it at 500000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000cr problem solved. Poor excuse
Programming doesn't allow for an infinite number is a very valid point, so remember it is only a game and it is so stupid to have a no credit limit in a racing game.

For all we know with the way games break oddly, having a higher credit limit may have made the game do something weird.

I would say though it is probably a deliberate move to add value to the unicorn cars, where you have to sacrifice everything you have and be left with absolutely nothing in order to own a special car.
