This is for the ultimate Gran Turismo fan. The idea is to take the GT cars originally made for Gran Turismo and race them around all of the original tracks in GT6.

Room settings:
Boost: Off
Penalty: None (refer to "Penalties" section)
Tire wear/fuel consumption: Normal
Grip Reduction: Real
Minimum # of pitstops: 0
Race finish delay: Median qualifying time of GT2 + 4 seconds rounded to the nearest 10
Damages: Off
Slipstream Strength: Real

Tire regs: Racing Mediums or Hards only. Tire compound is not forced to be changed.

Aids: All aids are required to be off. ABS is limited to 1.

Rules:
The rules are simply summed up into two words... NO BS. As long as everyone races clean and is courteous to other drivers on the track and no one is cheating, I'm OK.

Cheating: Cheating results in an immediate disqualification of qualifying/ race position. No exceptions. Abide by the regulations or be gone.

Shortcutting: Cutting will result in a bump in penalty level depending on severity. 4 penalties for this and you are disqualified. Keep half of the car on the track surface.

Contact: All intentional contacts will result in a bump in three penalty levels. Avoidable contacts will be penalized as well, just not as severe. 4 penalty levels results in a disqualification.

DQ limit: 2 disqualifications results in a 2 race suspension, 3 result in a kick from league.

Cars allowed:

There will be one driver allowed in each car. Only when all car spots are filled first can cars be used more than once. If a car has an alternate paint scheme, drivers wishing to drive the same car must use different paint. THERE ARE NO TEAMMATES, no exceptions.

Another practice room will open shortly.
I've got a good amount of people willing to join my series, but they all have to practice for a 550pp race. God knows why, they are all good drivers, but unless people start miraculously start to sign up or I get other people willing to drive, this season will be rather barren until the 5th of February.
I'm also coming closer to finalizing regulations... I need to do serious practice races before that happens, but they are closer, nonetheless.

Definitely interested in joining
I'll send you a request... I'd like you in GT2 because GT1s are actually rather tough to handle despite having the Racing Softs. Guess that's what I get for running 600bhp in them.

Of course, the only person I can attract has the name "RoflWaffles." With any luck, he got that from Arby n' The Chief.

A practice room is open right now. Message my friend and co-league coordinator Carnby7 if you want to begin testing early. I'll be home at around 8:10PM and have to room open until 10PM pending participation. We'll be doing 4 of the 10 tracks on the schedule, starting with Deep Forest.

I'm also starting to hone in on a starting date. February 11th is looking tempting... but it'll probably be the 18th. I'll be posting this information soon!

Yet another practice room is open... this time testing Medium tires at Grand Valley and Eiger Nordwand.

Final regulation testing will be held on February 11. My friend's driver will be joining, so there should be blossoming participation. Still, I would like all that can join to join up. Track will be Deep Forest, and there will be two races, both 24 laps in length. One at 7:30PM and one at 9:00PM

I would also like to officially announce that Grand Valley and Apricot Hill, the final two events of the season (barring course creator) will be the two endurance rounds of the season! This will add another layer to a finale that was already looking like an exciting one.

Hi Mythic, thanks for telling me about this series. I'd like to sign up please.

Considering there aren't many entrants for the GT1 class, sign me up in the Citroen GT (in yellow).

BTW, what an original idea this is XD

Nice one.
I should have updated this last night, but Texas will be running in GT by Citroen. If you don't have anything else, that's OK, but if you do have something else, I'd like for you to drive that.

I'm still actually saving up for a car so it's good you got back to me when you did otherwise I may have bought the GT and been left poor... I'll take the Nissan Fairlady Z then please :)

Perfect.. see you on race day!
Sucks when your favorite cars are taken... :\

I've actually not driven the GT much, but I just like the look of it...reminds me of the Batmobile in many respects lol.
The Z will be fine, I'm sure :)

I was also referring to the NSX-R... And I think the Panoz is the "Batmobile"

Oh I see. Nah, I wouldn't have chosen the NSX-R anyway, it's nice to have some variety I think. And you're probably right about the Panoz, but the GT does look pretty cool... it's a shame I won't be driving it. But on the plus side, Texas is, and he's a decent racer, so it'll be a closely fought GT1 class I reckon... Looking forward to it muchly.

Great race guys. Results have been posted for all of you to see.
Get ready for SSR5... it just has soooooo much more grip than Deep Forest.

It was an OK race from my point of view. For me, JF and Seth are two of the fastest people I've raced and so I really was expecting a really really tough battle with them throughout, it's a shame that they lucked out as I think it would have been a cracking three way battle to the finish.

SSR5 is actually another of my favourite original tracks, alongside DFR, TM and Autumn Ring, so I'm looking forward to it.
Hopefully the new Z specs will keep it competitive with the rest of the field... I guess some prior testing at SSR5 would be wise, but if it works, I'm happy to run with 1200kg now Mythic... what do you think?

As I said before aboe... it is only required to make your maximum regs (which is 600/1170 heading into SSR5). If you want to run more weight, feel welcome to!
From what I did test, the Z had a tough time at GVS and SSR5, but did really well at Deep Forest and Trial Mountain.
Personally, I cannot wait for Eiger... that will be a good race.

OMW

EDIT: after my PS3 does its System Restore thingy after yet another GT6 freeze. Jeeez...

Ok... new points are up.
If I had someone to sanction my races... I might do a bit better.
However, my previous hostility won't allow that

Hi,I'm interested in trying this league out would I be ok to come along for the next race and if i like it would i be able to join full time? If i can i would like to drive in the Mazda RX8 Concept LM (or whatever car isn't taken), Thank you for taking the time to read and consider me, Hope to hear a reply soon :), sorry read the the time as GMT, would delete my comment if i knew how as i won't be abnle to make the times :(
