Pedals on the t300 rs gt

i'm new to simracing, and i'm having a problem where the clutch and the accelerator are not responding to being pressed. the mode button is also red, about a day ago it was working fine but now i don't know what's up to now, could i get a little help?

I had a similar problem start recently where the clutch would turn on for no reason, I would get a weird noise, I assume it's PD's version of grinding gears and I would have to depress the clutch to shift gears and get the car moving, good if you want to learn how to drive with a clutch not so good for racing.
