Pennzoil Zexel GTR JGTC Settings

Can anyone give me decent settings for a Nissan Pennzoil Zexel GTR JGTC? I've been trying to race it for a while but i've failed miserably every time.

I still really like the car's acceleration though, so i just want simple settings that could make the car driveable

Thanks.

Look primarily at your camber settings. Even with default suspension settings the ZEXEL is as quick as most of the other JGTC's. Just give yourself a 2.4/1.4 setting as a baseline (it's a tiny bit more than default) then adjust from there.

Which championship are you trying to compete in anyway, if it's Japanese GT Championship with the other JGTC's, you can easily win the whole thing using the less powerful BMW M3 Race Car. 473hp after oil change, no other mods and better on the tyres than all the JGTC cars. And it gives a decent amount of points too after beating those cars.

Thanks, I'll take that into account:dopey:
but since i paid 1,350,000cr. for it, i really don't want to buy anything else:ill:

That, and the JGTC in GT4 requires the car to be Japanese, which the M3 is not, Mafs. ;)

Might also help you to try running 85/85 ride height and setting the spring rates equal to each other at around 8-10 kg/mm. But TEST it. If it doesn't work better, don't keep it. Also, I'd suggest more radical rear camber than Mafs did, so about 2.5 front and 2.0 rear.

But it ISN'T restricted to JGTC cars RJ. ;) Not on the PAL version anyway. :D I'll grab a camera later and take a pic if I'm too bored of me racing the JGTC's with the M3 Race Car.

0.6 isn't that much.....I thought you were going to say 3.5/3.0 then.

My personal settings have 0.0 rear camber for better traction. :D

Waiwaiwai.... You have issues with traction on a JGTC car enough to need 0 camber?

They have more downforce than DTM cars, and my DTM Audi TT (of only 20-50hp less than a JGTC car) has 1.8 and only spins the tires ever in first.

I didn't say I had any traction issues, I just said I get better traction from that setting, it bites harder on acceleration on the exit of the corner that's all and gets a better through the gear momentum when you get back on the gas. Plus, you compensate for the 0 camber with a bit of toe angle for handling in the rear.
And like I said, I used the M3 Race Car...less downforce on that car than the JGTC's. ;)

That rear toe adjustment will in turn destroy tires quicker, so you wind up needing to pit quicker, which means that races where pitting is required, you'd pass yourself so to speak by running camber on the rear without toe.
