Yup, just found those... Some are tasteful, some are weird... anyway, let's just laugh, or not.

Hmm, a DeLorean with balls...

Well it's nice to know there's still somewhat of an interest in the car, but seriously the car itself is a clunker, 100% collectors piece, they obviously just took it to the next step...
As for that "lowrider Deloreon"
He was probably just high.

V6 with overhead camshafts
2.85 Liters
rear mounted 5 speed/3 speed auto transaxle drivetrain

130HP 150lbs of torque
150ishHP with the Twin turbo kit
Oh yeah, that's right 150.
0-60 in 7.3
top speed 130mph 140+ w/ TT kit
2700 lbs

Good question...

It had a 140 hp, 2.8l V6, mid mounted, and it could barely hit 109 mph. 0-60 in an unbelievable 10.5 seconds, 0-100 in about 40. T'was a dog, in other words... Which made the speed claims in BTTF even funnier (what was it, 70 mph? 80 mph? Gee, i can't remember)

88mph, I believe. I like the color of that 2nd DeLorean, but that's about all that I like about it.:scared:

88 miles per hour. And it needed 1.21 Gigawatts of electrical energy... :D

Anyway, the DeLorean's Renault V6 engine was REAR-mounted - John DeLorean was a big Porsche 911 fan and designed the car to emulate them. The Lotus engineers that tuned the suspension kept asking him to make it MR, to make their job easier, but he wouldn't listen.

Are you going to give us a link to where you got that information or not?

Twin turbo kit? That wasn't a factory DeLorean offer, i'm fairly certain.

PunkRock, Twin Turbo wasn't a FACTORY option no. But the Kit was availible from DMC

But a turbo kit that would add only 20 hp? Sounds shady.
