Okay, so first I wanted to post about how I enjoy driving my WRX sti version 00 at 489hp, 538pp. I was gonna talk about how I think it handles great just on racing soft, and stock settings. It seemed to be at the limit of the tires load and accurately.
But then, I drove the Toyota Ft-86 G-sports 10. Wholly crap, I was really impressed with that handling at the stock settings. So then I bumped that car up to 342hp and 495pp, racing soft of course, again stock suspension settings.

Then I battled the two cars at deep forest, which is a track I have alot of hours on. I went back and forth between cars, battling ghosts and trying to get to a final decision. Well after several laps of trying, I have the Subaru at 1:18:929 and the Toyota at 1:19:.114. (driving with a regular controller) So whats interesting to me is that the Toyota keeps up so well with the Subie at such a difference in performance points.

So my next thing will be to add a ECU tuning to the Toyota and see what happens.

I'll check in later.

After 4 laps of desperate trying, I can't quite catch the wrx, even with the tune. But then a little break, thanks to a kid selling door to door, and I came back and spun a 1:18.227 with the toyota. Then I switched back to the wrx and after 6 laps got a 1:17.495.....so, back to the Toyota. After 8 laps of serious trying, the Toyota's 1:18.618 just couldn't match the wrx's overall hp advantage, even with the tune. No now I'm going to add the six speed transmission to the Toyota and see what happens.

After 5 laps, as suspected, the new transmission didn't really do anything to help the toyota's battle to catch up.

Threw on a sports manifold and that still wasn't quite enough to overcome the rex. However, I did turn the Toyota's fastest time with a 1:17.667. Next comes the racing filter instead of the sports filter. Up to 374hp

Maybe a fluke in driving, but that did it. I beat the rex with a 1:17.

Well, enough for now. Time to work on rally racing. Peace.
