Through 2 different tunes from MrGrado and Vegrard i have tried both... and made a tune that is in the middle of the 2

This Tune is the best yet... but im having a problem with Braking and understeer while entering turns. Here is the complete tune and all... plz help with this problem and will be #1 pescarolo hybrid tune imo.. b/c the rear end doesnt even kick out atm like it used to.

Racing hard
TCS 1
everything else off

No turbo's or car upgrades
total hp: 950

Aerodynamics: 60,85

Transmission: 1st: 4.500 2nd: 3.00 3rd: 2.200 4th: 1.672 5th: 1.280 6th: 1.000
Final gear: 2.791 Top Spead: 236 actually top speed: about 240...

RH: -10, -20
SR: 12.7, 17.3
DE: 5, 8
DC: 6, 7
ARB: 5, 6

Camber: 1.0, 1.3
Toe angle: .02, .15

LSD: 5, 5, 20 (idk y but i like my initial torque and acceleration sensitivity rly low)
Brakes: 8, 7 (i think this may have a lot to do with my brake/ turn entry understeer problem)

plz try the tune and help me fix my braking / turn entry understeer problem

PS: i do all my testing on Grand Valley and La Sarthe 2009 with chicane...
i feel liek Grand Valley is the perfect test track for about everything but top end speed... but thats what La Sarthe is for

so tune at these 2 tracks if u can... i feel if my car does good here... it does good everywere

Grand Valley: 1.39.573 at best so far with this car
Le Sarthe: 1.25.835 Terrible time i know... hlp fix

Uhm I hope you meant 2:25 at Le Sarthe cause otherwise your in X1 territory...:embarrassed:

sry.... i ment 3.25.874

and i just went back to circuit... i get consistant 3.24.465 and around there now.... but sometimes i still get a back lap and it goes to 3.25 something or worse... but 3.24 - 3.25 is my average laps

Just had to check since the very fastest drivers using all the cuts they could and all driving aids were running right at 3 minutes during the Ferrari Seasonal there so even with the better handling I didn't see anything short of an X1 even getting close to a 1:25.:lol:

yeah.... lol was typo... i want this car to go faster though...

u know le mans car be fast on lemans... and not lose to a 787b or minolta by a whole 6 seconds

my 787b and minolta get like 3.19 - 3.20 lap times... i think a lemans race car with 950 hp should be faster -.-

Since you say its instability when braking you might try lowering your LSD's decel setting. 20 seems a bit high to me but then I generally run very low decel settings on my tunes. Also you might try lowering your damper compression values to free up the springs a bit and react quicker to the sudden shifting of weight.

Not sure if either or both those will help but I'd suggest trying them one at a time in small incremental steps.

Thats a really good time if your using racing hard tires.. and 908 naturally understeers a lot

not rly... my minolta does 3.21
and my 787b did a 3.19 once...

both had racing hard tires with no upgrades on the car what so ever...

and the new lemans cars arnt fast... they have too much regulations on those things now imo

Yeah your problem is your lsd. Lower numbers means your LSD is open more and your tires will spin. Which essentially is what will fix your problem.

How does tire spin have to do with my problem... my problem is brakes and understeer... not tire spin -.-

my car never tire spins b/c my lsd is low.. ive tuned up... higher = tire spin

but i resolved the understeer... and my braking is fine now... im just curious now how to get better lap times... like ways to improve the set up without altering the handeling too much

Increasing initial torque might make things feel a bit better, about 20ish, won't do much for the understeer though, see if you like it.
Also reduce rear downforce to 82~83 should help a little(Don't go too far or it will make the rear let go a little at high speed then it will drag the front off line).

This car and the '04 don't handle well at all (haven't tried the '03 yet, but its in my garage) Im still working on them(slowly) My Pescarolo's gather dust most of the time in GT5:(

eah ive got the chars handling tuned pretty pefect id say... it doesnt spin or understeer or anything anymore.... i just feel like the lap times should be better....

If u wanna try the build its posted above... but changed the lsd brake setting to 25 and lower rear downforce to 83 insted of 85... i think thats all i did and it handles great...

if any ideas how to upgrade lap times though... let me know
