Most of us know the news of GT Academy 2011 by now. And most of us also know that this worldwide initiative to find the best virtual racer and turn him/her into a real-life racing driver currently isn't very worldwide.
It's even a bigger blow for those who took part in the European Academy last year to find out that they aren't able to compete this year (competitors from Australia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, Finland and Belgium come into mind).
To take the cake GT Academy North America left out the 2nd biggest market in the North American region - Canada!
If you're a
member; sign this petition and vote on the poll (above) to show Sony Computer Entertainment, Nissan and Polyphony Digital how much worldwide interest there actually is in Kazunori-san's vision of turning a Gran Turismo racer into a professional racing driver.
N.B. - Please keep the topic of this thread strictly to signing, discussing and improving this petition and our chances of getting future GT Academies. There are threads for general discussion on GT Academy USA here and GT Academy Europe here.
