IMO it has enough details to stand out in crowd of modern day hatches. Prettiest 300 series car since umm like 304.

Angular front looks like an MG 3 gone aggro. Not what I'd call pretty but it does stand out more than the outgoing model.

My biggest gripe is with Peugeot choosing to go with this modernised '60s logo to kick off the Stellantis era. I wasn't a fan of the previous smoothing over of the Lion logo but it was still instantly recognisable. This looks like it belongs on a modern Proton and doesn't befit the current Peugeot aesthetic whatsoever. If they wanted to revive one of the classics then the lion outline would have been perfect as a return to a flatter, minimalist design.

Chrysler can sell it here and the only slight modification they'd need would be to change the Peugeot logo to an Eagle logo.

Looks especially good from the side - nice mix of old BMW and current Subaru in there, so pleasingly muscular overall. Given the way the new 208 and 2008 have been, the thing should be quite the joy to drive as well.

Doesn't look particularly French to me. As a person of French ancestry, I mildly shrug.

It is interesting to me that Korean cars have developed an almost-French kind of character in the last decade (I mean, the Kia K5 especially has a kind of stately esotericism that looks French to me, it could be a Peugeot 505 in alternate universe where that model was continually updated) while the actual French cars have kind of nodded off into ambiguousness.
