First shown at a test in portugal, this was going to be Peugeot's full scale attempt with Hybrid power after their initial success with the 908 HY in 2008 as well as the original first Diesel Hybrid to take on Le Mans. This car uses a 60 KW Electric motor that allows the car to run in all-electric mode in pit lane and boosts the hp from the regular 550 HP to 630 when fully activated. Much like the Jaguar Xj13, a car that was intended to take on the Le Mans 24 but never did when Peugeot pulled the plug on the program, even as the car was being prepared to test at Sebring. This car doesn't really get much attention apart from its brief mention with the regular car and surprisingly no sim has included it at (discounting mods, which likely feature it as nothing more then a repaint) and it would be phenomenal to have this car and actually race it.

Engine: Peugeot HDI 3.7 L V8 Twin Turbo With a 60 KW Electric Motor
Horsepower: 550 (630 with electric motor activated)
Transmission: Ricardo 6-Speed Semi-Automatic
Weight: 900 KG

The only car in the world that manages to sound like it would if it was in GT6. :sly:

Sorry to dig this back up, but I've updated the OP with Specs for the car now.

I say yes to this car, but with the hope that PD also updates the specs of the Toyota TS030 to account for the e-motor...that car deserves more power...

I still imagine it fighting alongside Toyota and Audi and I'm still sad that it never happened.
Come back Peugeot, we need a french manufacturer in Le Mans!

Besides Dodge, Peugeot is my favourite brand in Motorsport! I specially love the Le Mans cars.

It already has the active hybrid system. There's even a display inside the cockpit indicating when energy is recovered and used.

The petrol engine on the TS030 puts out 529 hp on its own. According to real life stats, the hybrid system creates an additional 300 hp. Anyway back to Peugeot, KAZ/PDI please.

It's not. Drop the downforce to the minimum values and you should be about 10 kph faster. Also realize that the hybrid power comes in bursts. Basically you only use the full 830 hp coming out of corners as it is in real life.

My TS030 tops 225 with low aero, but my R18 tops over 240...but ok then.

Is the R18 Stock? What's your gearing on both? I'd love to get 240 mph out of the Audi.

Yeah the R18 is fully upgraded, and they are actually faster than I said. My TS030 does 235 mph and my R18 does 253.

Terrible comparison. You can't say the basically stock Toyota should be faster than a fully upgraded R18. Apples to apples, with both cars stock the Toyota is faster.

Speak for yourself lol. My R18 does more than 235 without the upgraded turbo...and the AI cars using the R18 always pull away from the TS030 on the straights, regardless of my downforce setting.

Small change to the Specs, specifically a correction to the Transmission which is not a 6-Speed Sequential but a 6-Speed Semi-Automatic. Weight also corrected to 900 Kg.
