That's not true, many of the VGTs do have one. But I do recall PD/Kaz saying they eventually want all the VGTs to have cockpits, and I do hope they at least get added in updates. (I'd say the same of the Toyota S-FR Racing Concept.)Sadly, no VGT has a modeled Cockpit View.
Only PD know why, but I have my assumption.
He also said they'd all arrive within 12 months in GT6, so.....That's not true, many of the VGTs do have one. But I do recall PD/Kaz saying they eventually want all the VGTs to have cockpits, and I do hope they at least get added in updates. (I'd say the same of the Toyota S-FR Racing Concept.)
I thought this was something he said during Sport's life, not GT6's. It feels like he said this much more recently than that, even if it was at least a couple years ago.He also said they'd all arrive within 12 months in GT6, so.....
I'm talking about when the VGT program programme first launched, he said they would all arrive over the following year.I thought this was something he said during Sport's life, not GT6's. It feels like he said this much more recently than that, even if it was at least a couple years ago.
Sure, they've added new manufacturers since they first launched but there are some manufacturers still on the coming soon list that have been there since day 1, NINE years ago.The initial promise of the project was interesting. Eighteen manufacturers had signed on, for an initial 12-month project. It wasn’t just car makers either, as fashion and design brands like Jordan and Nike hit the initial shortlist.
In short, for whatever reason, either PD or the manufacturers, I wouldn't put too much faith in what Kaz says about this programme. The 12-month Vision Gran Turismo project was into its second year in at this point, and stood at just eight vehicles. Only five of those came from the original list of 18 marques
Yeah, but do you have the article about him mentioning the addition(s) of cockpits for cars that don't have them? I can't seem to find a reference to them in that article you posted.I'm talking about when the VGT program programme first launched, he said they would all arrive over the following year.
Looking Back at Four Years of Vision Gran Turismo
Four years ago today, at Gamescom in Cologne, Kazunori Yamauchi announced the formation of the Vision Gran Turismo project. It was a grand collaboration that few believed could become reality; vehicle manufacturers creating concept cars specifically for a racing game. However, Polyphony Digital hwww.gtplanet.net

Oh really?! I assumed none of them had one as the few I tried didn’t had a modeled Cockpit. That's not true, many of the VGTs do have one.
