Just done the inaugural Round on the GT Planet Social.

I haven’t played that course yet and it’s a bit of cow bag. Plus the wind means some difficult positions and those greens are super slick. Had some good fun.

Also nearly got my first Hole In One.

Some of the fictional official courses are absolutely stunning. This game has nailed it visually in my opinion.

Nice, I've had a little look at the creator, it's quite overwhelming in terms of how much there is to negotiate within the editor. I imagine a lot of hours/days/weeks can be lost perfecting a course.

Had my first distance hole out today, on that beautiful Marigot Cove course. 1st hole of the 3rd round.

You should be able to change this in settings on the controls or difficulty.

Yeh, it’s very detailed but I’ve found the way it’s used quite convoluted compared to other editors.

Once I figured out how to have no random holes generated and how to get rid of the auto bunkers, greens and fairways when you then create a hole, it’s become quite easy. Trees could still do with more randomisation in size colour and verity when filling in a spline area but it’s not too bad.

Nice hole out too!

The one about the pins not changing? Only seems to be affecting certain courses, possibly just real ones as I've definitely had different pin positions on the official fictional courses in career mode.

Yeah by the sounds of it definitely with the real world courses, nothing crazy just weird hitting to the same pin during a tournament 😂

Absolutely. Think the only real course I've played so far in career is Spyglass Hill, I've not qualified for other ones yet 😂. Oh apart from Torrey Pines but I missed the cut and didn't notice the pins.

Wasn't thankful for the pins changing at the Northern Shore Open, there's a par 3 on a peninsular with a narrowing green and lots of wind, the back pin is absolutely brutal.

So my first GTP Society event went very badly, had a poor first round, started coming back in the 2nd and then just capitulated. Not good.

A note about game balancing updates

Hey friends,

We want to make you aware of some changes we made coming out of Early Access. We first want to say that we appreciate and welcome all feedback, and hearing from the players is paramount to growing together. After the release of every game, we learn a lot, and this extended Early Access period has taught us so much about how our player base engages with our new and revamped features.

In response to early player data and feedback, we’ve adjusted Quests, rewards, and progression to improve competitive integrity and balance across the board. We also want rewards and achievements to feel meaningful and earned, and we think integrating some of the lessons Early Access has taught us will help us reach that goal.

We are also adding another upcoming double XP event soon and a Ranked Tours Weekly Quest to diversify the opportunities to accrue rewards for new players joining us tomorrow.

We'll continue to be responsive and monitor player behavior with the ultimate goal of creating the most enjoyable experience we can.
