Did anyone catch the tail end of the race at Phillip Island, Melbourne that happened yesterday? I'm not much of a motorbike fan, but watching the last 25 or so laps yesterday was some of the best racing i've seen.

Rossi and Gibernau went for it tooth and nail, and swapped the lead that many times.....it was only decided in the second half of the last lap when Rossi took Gibernau on the inside.

It was amazing.....Congrats to Valentino for winning the title.....but more importantly in my eyes, the thriller of a race.

I watched the 250 and Motogp races. Rossi is simply amazing. On an inferior machine to the Honda's, he still socked it too em 👍

Good to see Ducati on the podium again too.

As a life-long car racing fan (and competitor) i have to say that i'm becoming more and more seduced by the quality of the racing at Moto GP and World Superbikes races. They have lead changes 2-3 times per lap (compared to F1's 2-3 times per season!), close racing from start to finish and throughout the entire field and passionate competitors who say what the think and have genuine love and hate for each other. Moto GP is every bit as professionally organised and promoted as F1, but seems to have little of the red-tape bull-**** that is ruining F1.

they showed a highlight version on Speedtv today on Two Wheel Tusesday and for an F1 fan...THEY HAD ME ALL UP ON MY SEAT AND STUFF!!!! im hooked!!! looks like a great track too, especially that long left hander!

I managed to watch it all, coz I was there. All the races were good, but as you said Travi_D, thanks to Valentino for the great Motogp race, it was one of the best I have seen all season!
