I'm starting to look into a new phone after some somewhat annoying glitches on the Fire Phone. I would like something under $400 ($200-300 preferred) with a good camera that works on T-Mobile(GSM).

Phones I am/will be looking into are Moto G Plus, Moto X, and Nexus 5X. Any others to look into?

The Moto Z Play looked good, but is a bit pricey considering the camera doesn't have image stabilization. I believe the previous 3 all don't have it and I'm guessing it's a premium feature ($$$).

You can swing a One M9 for around $300. HTC has been clearing house of them for the past month or so, and they've taken care of the overheating problems from early on (granted, by throttling it, but it was still a flagship phone from last year so it won't be short of power) .

The LG G4 has a pretty nice camera.

LG would be my recommendation as well. The G4 has a fast aperture, larger sensor than most, stabilization, and can shoot raw files. If it wasn't such a large phone, I likely would've bought it a while back instead of getting the iPhone SE. The few times I've shot on the G4, and later LG models, the camera app is pretty nice to work in (as a photographer) and the results impressed me given less than ideal lighting situations - dive bars, clubs, etc.

That's another thing to consider. Standard size is ~5.5 inches for most phones, which seems a tad big. Though I'm sure it's workable.

I've had 2 Moto X's (2nd Gen and Pure Edition) and the cameras were pretty rubbish on both. LG G4 would be the best option.

Nexus 5x is good.
5.2"
Android 7.0/7.1/8.0
12 MP main
5 mp front.
From experience had a Nexus 5x.
Now on Pixel

I looked up the LG G4. I like the OIS, and the other features look good too. It falls a bit on the reliability front with the bootloop issue. This issue also seems to affect the G5, though I'm not sure if it's as widespread. :grumpy: Though it's looking like a warranty would be handy with any of these.
