However I am going to nit pick about some of the pics. In particalur the ones where you can see through the tinted car windows and clearly see no one at the wheel. Come on PD, how hard can it be to pop in a 2d image of a person at the wheel. It only needs to be an outline @ low res. But just enough to give the idea that there's someone there.

Jamie do you have GT4:Prologue?

If so can I suggest you take the NSX out for a spin and look inside it?

There is most definetely a driver there... you can see the seat back in the passenger seat and a helmet in the driver seat...

Other examples are the M5 Concept... I've not checked any other cars though... but I'm pretty sure they'll all have them in there.

GT3 definitely had silhouttes of drivers in all the cars... apparently they will be more pronounced in GT4 in closed cars and nicely animated in the drop tops.

At last I finally downloaded them all. Very nice. Good find Zer0.

The difference is in the locales.
All those shots taken from the in race replay Photo mode feature driver silhouttes, some left hand drive some right hand drive and you can even see passenger seats where applicable even possibly although not so clear is that a roll cage in the 205.

Yet in the Photo mode only locations, you are effectivly taking a picture of parked cars in glorious locations and are therefore driver-less (i know the idea of parking in the middle of a traffic flow in shibuya is the exception and possibly a little crazy).
Also im not sure but i belive the Photo mode only locations are going to be using the car models direct from the car selection screen, featuring high detailed, rims and brakes e.t.c where as the replay shots may not hence the naff wheels on the Falken, (this is something I heard a while ago and havent really heard much about since)

^ i think you're dead on with this... the locales seem to be taking shots of the cars while stationary and driver-less... like shooting it for a magazine cover. The in-race shots will feature the driver... if you scan that pic of KY standing in front of that bulletin board of photomode pics you can see examples of this.

ive picked up some pics which were made in the E3!!!
so for u NOT MEMBERS here are some of the fastest GT-RACECARS which are going to be on GT4!!!! look and enjoy it!! (i cut all pics bcause they were too big!!)
...badger...badger ....mushroom...mushroom!!!... ;>

:dopey: :) :sly: 👍

..ooh LOVELY GT-ONE!!! :dopey:

:banghead: GT-One Lover, what does your post have to do with photo mode?????? Have some respect to the thread topic... there's countless other threads where you can talk about LMRs and JTGC cars.:banghead:

Well you don't have to have black and white pics if you don't want them. Personally I think the one with the Cobra is very artistic and fits really well.

Love the pics nice find and PD come on im hungry. Just one question in the photomode will you be able to choose the time of day you take the pics? because i notice that in this tread about weather https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=44341 there was a pic posted that showed the same place in different times of the day (or so it seemed), so can we choose the tim of day?

I didn't actually see a pic posted in that thread but if you're referring to the two shots I saw a while ago of Laguna Seca at different stages of daylight (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=43330) and we wound up concluding it was from different versions of GT.
In all due respect the top one is a real photo and the bottom one is from the game. I had the larger versions and just deleted them. I'll see if I can find the images again.

can u only take pics on special places or can u photograph ur cars in a race, too??
and if u canshoot pics in a race-preview cab u perhaps choos more camera angles??

...how coool!!! i sometimes stopped the review of a race and wished that u can print or at least save the situation u now see on ur screen....and now my wish gets fulfilled!!!
...boooaaaahhh!!! i can´t wait any moreee!!!!!

I hope the camera is totally dynamic, so I can move it anywhere :D THAT WOULD FOOKING RULE!! I doubt it will though, as when you start to pull out, clipping and draw distance may become an issue.

...would be great if u could photograph ur car when it is in the pit!!!
or better: imagine u could just open the doors, the engine hood (and the boot or even the roof [if u have a cabrio or cabrio-coupe]if there are some)!!!!!!
u can make that in NFS-PORSCHE...remember? opening the doors of the PORSCHE GT1 LM´98!!!!

You'll be able to take pic during races like I said so you might be able to get a shot with the pitcrew, that's makes sense since you can take photos of from replays. The camera is free in photo locals only I bet. I seriously hope ferrari and porsche are in!!! I will have some mad photos of f40s, f50s, enzos, everything!!!!

L1ama
half of the tracks arent even completed yet, and the ai is not programmed for all the tracks yet, the game is at about 70% done now, they finished the hard part, now they are finishing it up

If anything all the tracks are complete and the AI is complete for all the tracks. If you are talking about the hacked replays, if you notice the Nurburgring was complete well before E3. The Data on GT4 P was incomplete and thats very old code.

I think he was referring to these 3 shots of Hong Kong, with slightly differing conditions.

I don't think they are different conditions in the day I suspect that it's the angle of the track round the corner of the curved straight... if you look at the building on the right it is the same one.
