Photo Mode - what does this mean?

Photo stage (Stage Photo mode only)

Were these available in previous GT games, or is this new to GT5? If so could someone explain what it is. Screens from GT4 would be good. Thanks.

Yes, even GT4 had photo mode, circuits and stages as well. You can easily watch some photos from it: http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=cs&client=opera&rls=en&q=gt4+photo+mode

Photo mode is awsome, i cant wait to see it in GT5. Im going to have a crap load of pictures. the cool thing is that the photo mode makes the game look a whole lot better. Not only that but you also have youtube output. I have some videos i saved from my GT4 file that I'd love to upload, but i dont have a camcorder. Its a couple of awsome drifting i did in the game with the HKS silvia,Rx-7, and this insane Inertia drift i did in a Evo 8.
