very good shots! and the cars used makes this the photomode tournament version of dtm! mercedes vs. audi, well almost, because there are bmw's as well. surprised not to see a single RUF Porsche or an Opel anywhere from anyone at all. as for the polls, the last auto union shot just gets my attention a lot. that shot is very epic, with a great shutter speed and the platinum tone to it just matches with the era that the car came from. i like the gtr (http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/3576/pmcentry.jpg) m3 entry as well, just a little bit skeptical about the quality and form of the blur, though i'm sure it can be achieved 👍 i'm not saying there has been a form of cheating. just not something i see everyday well done on that one, and the third spot goes to the mercedes benz convertible at ssr5. great colours and contrast all around, with a sharp focus and good use of lighting. my runner ups are the 330i at ssr5, the sauber mercedes at suzuka, fifth goes to the volkswagen golf for that very creative composition ( i think i have an idea who did that shot ), and sixth but not the least is the auto union in the fish market location. i love how it stands out from the background, the composition gives it that studio shot appeal to it. oh must i add the two red bull audi team cars running side by side at the oval. great combo of colors and the shutter speed and aperture levels match very well, giving it a great sense of movement and sharpness at the same time. it got my last spot due to being washed out, but it works and holds its own. i'm sure it will be one of the great shots that will get good votes from this poll. good luck to everyone and a job well done!

Dam, I missed the cut off time. I had a quality shot of my Ruf, and it would have been the only one by the looks of the entries shown.
Anyway, 2 are standouts for the artistic ability, and those are the two I chose.

I know what you mean. It's as if people went "nah, that's too obvious" collectively ^^; At least in the case of the RUF's.

You can either say it's cheating or it's not. You seem to suggest it is, but then backtrack not to step on people's toes. But I don't blame you, that's probably what I would do too. >_< From what I can tell, if it is cheating, it's very well done. So, I will say it is not.

So does that still qualify?

I have to give major 👍 to the two lads who made the 330i WTCC (BTCC?) car at SS5 and the Auto Union a Test Course. I wouldn't be surprised if these two guys face each other in the finales...

haha yeah...I see where you are coming from, but I've seen shots before in comps where the border was mearly a darker extension of the actuall pic, and there wasn't any fuss.

Speaking of Auto Unions (and agreed - there are quite a few of them), that last one.....phwoar!

I see that I absolutely did not step up this time round. shoulda sent in one of my many Ruf shots, they looked far better. I just didn't think this'd be as competitive as it is. Last time we had all of 9 entries. this time we have like...18 or something.
