Ok, here it goes.
Red Cars
NTX NTX style(very simple and calm shots, but yet Powerful smashing pumpkins). I dont know how he does, but realism of the car is great, the car has a shape, a form, a volume. It is a great picture, although that zoom blur on the grass allied with those weird textures ruins it a bit.
Tupacrulez A not so bad has he thinks shot. It is good, it had potential to be a great shot and wordy opponent if it only was executed right. It didnt need much, just a little radial blur to hide those hard textures and a bit wind/sky effect, changing his colors to perfect blue, and added some smoke to the drift and getting rid of the venting; it would be a fantastic shot.
Great Speed
Bram This shot just screams:
Welcome to the 2.0. The cleanup is great, although some hard edges, but that is because of that process of cleanup. The background is great, I think it bends well with the car. The back wind is CRAZY, and although you know it is a norm in the shots not to show the wing, because, has everyone knows, it almost never bends with the car, and it normally shows lots of weird textures, that almost make it look like it is made of paper, and yet, you went against all odds, and put it there and it looks great. That just shows how awe some the shot is. There are just one thing that disturbs me that is the car windows, it isnt really right. It passes from white to dark and then white again
Speed Again the same problem. The full size picture is too small. But from what it can be seen, the background seems a little to blur and soft, making the glowing and softness a bit too much exaggerated.
70s Cars For me, this was the hardest battle to cast vote.
Skyline I tell you, if the blur was right, I had voted for your picture, because IMO, the rest is great and it impresses me allot. You only needed to uniform the blur horizontally. In front or back only shots, if you want to put blur the hide those hard texture s in the road, just blur in horizontally according to the wheels. Then a bit of hand blur with the blur tool between the blurred background and the road to uniform the transition. Also, when motion blurring, enlarge the canvas, to not get those weird textures near the edges of the picture. Only that and you would get a great shot.
Swiss It doesnt impress me one single bit. It is like a rewind to all your present work, and a great rewind. The blur is a bit dirt, and has a lot of weird textures, both on the road and on the buildings, the car edges are blurred and it looks a old picture of mine. Although the cleanup is good, it really looks like an old work of yours.
I ended up voting for Swiss because it is not so messed up has skyline, but, if
I was voting based also in the persons who done the shot (Swiss that make and made wonderful shots, and skyline who is a new comer in the 2.0) I would have to go for skyline.
I will not judge my battle, has I think that would be a try at swaying the poll. But I just want to add one thing:
LDS: most disappointed in this shot, to be honest. it's solid. it's squeaky clean. But I get no sense of "wow this is awesome" from it. I get "here's a shot of a Mitsu that's been edited and looks great". nothing particularly wrong, but it just doesn't stand out.
Lovely work there Lds 👍 I think this shot stands out most from all entries. I love the composition with that blurred background 👍
This poll has such contradiction.
I will only had following: Thanks for the comments.
