Stunning work guys, I know who to vote for in every match except Alpha vs. franz. Both shots are amazing.

I don't know if my shot can beat Jaco's, very impressive cleaning and blurring as always. 👍

Also, it is funny how the angle of our cars is very similar. The angle of our front wheel too.

sejtur's shot isn't loading for me. I won't vote until I can see it though, to be fair.

Out of all of them I think my joint favourites are franz and Beerzgood's shots, but TW's photo is also very nice. I'm not saying the rest were bad, they're all stunning work but those are the ones that stood out to me.

Sej's Spoon!!! Awesome lighting!!!! Awesome!!! I simply can love it indeed!!!

Golf's Tangled. Damn you man! DAMN YOU!!! That must be a perfect photo of the Golf. All is amazingly well balanced, with a brilliant technique but it has a very special interest due to the base photo itself. The combination of colors, blackground, reflections, rims and that stunning mix of red-blue-graphite details will make me drool all this evening.

Beerz's Mines. Excellent modification of lights too!!! Specially the hood is so amazingly real... Probably the central area of the bumper has a bit excessive reflections, I think it's very difficult to balance perfectly this kind of photos, but I have to say you made an excepcional work!!!

Franzs (?) NSX. It's a very effective shot, and it looks very natural for me. That smoooth fog and contrast in some areas is giving me good feelings

Really impressive stuff here, very torn on a couple. I think the 2.0 way outdid the pmc in quality and uniqueness of shots this round. I think its obvious as the pmc has 4 less voters, hardly any views, and no comments. Good luck all!

TW and jacoja both are very amazing, so I had to vote both
Jacoja excels TW in terms of style and difficulties ...
but TW has great cold feeling to it which match the theme better
what if jacoja use All Wet theme, that would be a perfect shot for it

Ok, here's my take on every battle:

Sej vs fred – voted for sej, mainly because of the lighting he has going on in his shot. Tones are also awesome, but the overall composition and the mood it sets made it this battle’s winner for me. Love the reflection on the tarmac, and the way the tarmac looks, even the portion nearer the camera. Fred’s shot is also really cool, good cleanup, with a great and beautiful golden tone, very ‘poetic’, but it doesn’t relate to the theme as well as sej’s shot does, imo.

Jacoja vs TW – voted for jacoja. The main reason was the tremendous work he did on the car, while sticking to the theme very well, great curve blur, tarmac and reflection on it are also really good, awesome angle and very realistic tones. But still on the car, and knowing that car because I’ve took some close-up shots of it already, I have to give it to him, it’s an epic job he did, perfection all over. 👍
TW’s shot is great, I love the tones, the rim choice ( 👍 ), the focal blur he edited, car’s reflections, everything is technically very well done. Also noticeable the amount of work it has in it. And it does relate to the theme even a bit better (depending on the point of view, of course) than jacoja’s shot, but I’ll have to give preference, not only to the outstanding job he did all around, but also due to the fact that it’s a photomode shot, and has an added value because of that. At least to me.

On my duel, I voted for Geetown_Drifter’s shot, of course.

Alpha vs franz – Boy was this a hard one... Ended up voting for franz’s shot, but It feels really bad not voting for Alpha’s shot, I also fell in love for it.
They’re both so damn fabulous in their own style!... Alpha’s shot has, like already said, this fabulous color match between the car’s livery and the scenery. Also what amazed me is how he managed to crop just a small portion of the car (which usually doesn’t look good) and the shot still feels beautifully composed. Great angle, and a sweet cleanup on the car, with all those thin lines excellently worked finish the job, with an original presentation format.
Franz’s shot got my vote mainly (at least that’s what I keep telling myself since I still feel bad voting for only one) due to the originality of turning Shibuya into a day location, and beautifully executed.
Composition is beautiful, car’s very clean, successfully eliminating (or changing) the reflections that would give it the night look, to make the shot even more credible. Lighting is perfect, the diffuse/foggy light works extremely well for the intended purpose. Excellent work on this one, lots of imagination for a shot like this. 👍

Crap, I still can’t believe I voted for only one of the shots...

My votes went to:

Sejtur. Simply loved the colors, lighting is spot on.
Tangled Web. Jacoja's was technically better, but it wasn't giving me a cold/winter feeling at all. yet Tangled Web did an excellent job on that. And he has more my style.
Beerzgood. Both in this match weren't that great, beerz had too less blur and Geetown didn't quite do anything "2.0" in my eyes.
Alpha. I was quite sceptical at first, i tough looking at the preview it was just an oversharpened shot but when i enlarged, the composition was just so much better. He got my vote because the car fits more to shibuya too colorwise.

Great job all!

Thanks to the votes and comments made on my entry. The theme we were given was originally called 'Winter', and considering we don't get any snow where I live… at all, I went for a photo which captures a typical Perth winters day. Rain... and bloody cold 👍

Looking forward to the next tourney. It’s my time to be on the podium next time
