American Muscle - Both of these guys take the cake for awesome shots. These are so well done, the angles are great, the enviroment is great too. A very hard decision, but Empty Space's pic has the cut for me.

Hatchbacks - An easy decision.. 440's audi shot is amazing, but Evo 4 didn't do his best here.. So the audi shot it is.

Rolling Thunder - Wow, both shots are very impressive! Well done guys! I just love the both, the curve in the first pic is well found, but the burnout rocks too. I think i'll go with the SLR here.

True Blue - Both delicious work.. very well done here, not much to say, but the s2000 shot amazes me.. it gets my vote here.

well, every time i check this thread ive lost a little more ground without getting any votes myself.

American Muscle: I agree with Ray on this one, both shots are pretty nice, probably my toughest choice out of the whole poll. I voted for the red SS, I liked the way the car wasn't in the whole. Interesting locations for both shots, big American muscle cars in Japan.

Hatchbacks: Hands down the audi wins, I'm sure E4D would like this one back.

Rolling Thunder:The SLR is kickin' out an amazing amount of smoke, but the great use contrast with the C9 won me over.

True Blue: Both are good shots, I would like to see the S2000 with more background blur though. The simplicity of the Miata shot is very unique and an outstanding shot over all.

You know lmracer, Spoon cars were my first choice fo the photo shoot. I chose the Spoon Fit, but the front is hideous when I took photos with some angles, so I gave up. By the way, you got a good entry and it is very colourful. Good luck

Here is how my voting went.

atlop vs es

This is my theme, you two captured your cars very well. I must say that I love the Camaro, which I am guessing is empty spaces shot. Awesome colour and reflections, I really like the framing too. atlop produced the goods like always, but I was drawn more towards the Camaro.

Ev04 vs 440

I can't see how Ev0 expected to go with no editing, especially going up against 440. Of course the Audi got my vote, good to see 440 has his magic without 2.0 rules. You captured the Quattro brilliantly in it's natural element. Superb colour.
I am sure Ev04's shot would look a lot better if he had done some brightness/contrast adjust.

art555 vs arsenal

This was a hard decision, I love the minimalistic feel to arsenal's shot and the colour. The SLR burnout does capture me though, that is a lot of smoke.
Arsenal got my vote in the end, love the colours and composition.
I gotta ask art555, how did you get so much smoke?

lmracer vs franz

This was a even harder decision. I love both shots, they both fufill the theme really well. Both shots look superb too. Took me awhile to decide, but in the end I went with the franz's MX5. I really like the simplistic feel to it and the composition. Gives it a real artistic feel.
One of the main reasons why franz got my vote, is because it was less cluttered and more simple. I am not saying that lmracer's shot is bad, If he didn't have those big signs in the bg it would of been even harder to decide.
I hope you understand what I mean, I am bubbling now.


I found it a lot harder to vote for these shots than the 2.0 ones. All of you have done a superb job and good luck to whoever wins for the future rounds. 👍

art555 vs arsenal
how did you get so much smoke?

At first I was going to do a picture of the burnout without moving but the smoke was cutting throw the car and it look dull. So I did a rolling burnout at about 10-15km/h and captured it. As for amount of smoke: Tarmac at El captain and Cote'd Azur allow you to produce a lot of smoke and to do it even more speed up the replay so the smoke doesn't dissappear to fast
