Here are my reviews:
Battles:
I have no clue who made that first shot, but if it's either Franz or 440, i'm not used of such low quality of them. I think the second one takes the cake here.
I think the first one is franz's because he said he submitted an average shot.
Pitch Black:
Both are well done, the first one has a very nightish feeling whilst the second one captures the reflections very well. I went with the first one, because the car is more visable and the blue tint is awesome.
V Plus:
Both very nice shots i must say. I think they both are pretty alike except for the angles, and the fact the first one is in race and the second one in photo travel. I think the first one is a bit boring. There just isn't much color. The second one on the other hand does have nice colors, i've never seen such a good shot at that location. It definatly grabs my vote in this match.
Down Under
Definatly the first shot. The second one just doesn't has the right colors, and the first one is very realistic in my eyes. Nr.1 gets my vote here!

Here's my go:
franz vs. 440 CHARGER
I'm quite sure the second shot is 440 CHARGER's entry, seeing the familiar border. Anyway, being honest, the first shot is totally un-franz-like, saturation could be higher, as could the brightness be. 440 however came up with a really nice entry, nice colours, I love the cars and the effect the sun has on the track. 440 got my vote or the second shot incase I'm wrong about who's who.
empty space vs. arsenal
I have no idea who's who but the first shot got my vote, the colours seem to go hand in hand throughout the whole picture. The in-game blur seems to be constant throughout the whole picture while in the second shot, the camera is focused on the fornt which is nice but near the end of the car, the in-game blur makes it a real chaos.
NTX1982 vs. dmanbluesfreak
Am pretty sure the first shot is NTX' shot, seeing his style which has become really fimiliar. I like it, but it's time NTX starts experimenting with the zoom blur filter, that would give this picture so much more feeling. The Vanquish got my vote, a lovely car, taken at a lovely spot and the colours are spot-on 👍
Ultrashot vs. Drift2XS
Off course, Drift got my vote, it's a simple vote of respect for my competitors as well as seeing it would be unfair if I'd vote for all categories but not mine. Anyway, his shot amazed me at the first look but upon the larger picture, the car was far too blurry. The colours were nice however but he could've gone with different colours of that car...

Too blurry, doesn't look blurry to me. Is it the whole car or just parts?

I thought about what you said Loon so I went over and took a look at the rules to see if I had done anything wrong:

Does this also count outside the Photo Galleries forum? I have posted this picture before here on the boards but not in the galleries So if this is against the rules, judge me fair and give that free ticket for the finals to Drift2XS 👍 My apologies if I have done something wrong...I have got to stop being so lazy not to read everything these days 
Shortly after this picture was posted, someone told me I should remove it because it was against the rules but I thought that rule did not count outside the galleries and competitions so I'm sorry...

No in Rays "well textured car thread" someone said australian cars texture were really bad, then ultra showed his shot in that thread to prove them wrong.
I don't think he should be DQ'd because it looks like he put alot of work into that shot so it would suck to lose over a careless mistake.

No point in beating a dead horse - we all expected more from franz, but Real Life comes waaaay before virtual life. That said, its not a bad shot, but if the colors were better and the lines were crisper, I'd like it a lot. 440's shot is one of the best PMC shots I've seen in a long time - the cars are super-clean and the lighting is very unique.
Pitch Black:
I went with the SLR shot for the sole reason that it has better composition. I actually liked the RSX (or ITR) shot's colors better, but everything else in the SLR shot was a *tiny* bit better in my book. Both are great shots, but I liked the SLR a tiny bit more.

The monaro gets my vote. Daaayyyum, those reflections are superb - it looks downright real. The colors are good, though not spectacular, but the blurring is also excellent. The FPV car is very good shot also. The colors are exquisite, but since the blurring is a little excessive, I went with the Monaro. I see that if I do make it to the final round, I'm going to have to come up with something spectacular to even come close (let alone win) to either of your work.

Franz and 440, both work wonders with photoshop. But i am dissapointed to say the least about that match. Nice shot Dman and Ultra. I also like the SLR pic, whosever that was.

i'm not good at doing write ups , but i must say everyone did a great work this time around. so, what's gonna happen with ultra's shot now ? hope he doesnt get dq'd. i remember him posting a preview of his 'green tinted lm car' in the first round....if i remember correctly anyways...hope he gets thru anyways.

It is a shame that franz didn't have the time to get a better shot. It is still a nice shot, but doesn't have his usually flare. It's funny, but at first I thought 440's shot was fanz's. Love 440's, captured the battle brilliantly. I love the contrast between the cars and the shining road. Great work, can't wait to see what you come up with in the final. 👍
arsenal vs. [Empty space]
This was a hard one to vote for, I very much like both shots. They both captured the theme superbly. I went with arsenal's in the end. I like the framing better in his, the blue tint is nice and adds to the dark theme. [es] shot is great, love the colour and reflections on the car, the rims work well in this picture too. It just didn't stand out to me as much as arsenal. Great work form both of you. 👍

Another hard choice. I really like NTX's work, this shot is great too. It would be so much better if it had a zoom blur. It might of got my vote too. My vote went to dman, superb shot. Love the framing, the dark tone is also very nice with the green. Awesome work guys. 👍

Well, I am getting wasted in this round. I thought my shot would of put up more of a fight. I am happy with the way my shot turned out, I am also happy to have made it this far. Thanks to all who voted for me.
Ultra got my vote of course, what a amazing shot it is. I can see why I am getting wasted. This has to be your best shot ever imo. The reflections are so good, love the slight noise too, really adds to the realistic tone of the picture. The only problem I have is those shine spots. It looks like you put a few too many of them and can distract from the picture. They are good, but use them in moderation. Congrats on the win, I look forward to seeing what you bring to the final. 👍
