Have you tried clicking the picture? Should not be as messed up as the preview :) Well if you want to start chopping, just do simple chops first like changing the rims or darken the windows. Just check out these sites to get started:

Whoops, the car looks better, but the backgroung looks worse; Then again he did mention it was a "quickie".

Thanks for the advice, but I consider myself pretty good with PS/ graphics, I guess you wouldn't know that, because I've only posted I think 2 chops, and both were quickies too. I did one for my Nephew (5 years old at the time) and ran into some serious perspective, scale, and proportion issues.

I did pick-up a few good tips from those links, Thanks.

Well heres a quickie:
Didn't do any body mods or anything, just changed the backdrop and shading them 👍

I hope your not offended by my comments, but if your like me, I appreciate and perfer as much criticism as I can get. Criticism makes me a better artist, and points out things I didn't think of. I am my own worst critic too, all the time when I do a graphic, I tend to point out many flaws, that the average person doesn't see, until I point them out.

Okay I'll will post some kinda chop later today.

No problem :) Well yeah, maybe if you have more time then maybe you can post some of your "better" chops eh? Good to see that your getting better at this.....

Well its no big deal actually. Comments/criticism are always welcome as it can help improve from your past mistakes. 👍

Oh yeah, about that background....well its actually stretched from the original photo, so yeah, the quality did run away, but i think you already know the reason....

Oh man...i leave it overnight and all i get is off topic 🤬
Plz leave comments as this is what the topic is for lol.

the murcielago editing is actually not that bad, though it is "bad" but i like what you did with the car, thought i don't promote or encourage it.

I see you used Poster Edges filter :D - I can identify photoshop filters so easily, lol

Since when were you in charge, and people will comment when they want to. Honestly, the only reason I ever comment is when I see a chop I really like, or if someone keeps repeatedly posting rubbish *cough* Turbo *cough*.

:@ How Come Nobody Listens To Me

Because noone cares

So like how do you guys go shading anyways? Not the lousy 🤬 that turbo lag pulls of, but the cel shading like the ones in Auto Modelista or XIII (both are video games) but i want to learn....how do you do that in Photoshop?
He never said my work was bad lol. Anyway can someone post a good chopable pic up for me? Im really bored.

Well i can't give you any good pics, but i'll make your day a living nightmare....hehehe. Go and chop this!!!!

EDIT:sorry for the outline on the bonnet just it came like that and i coudnt get rid of it without demolishing the whole thing so just ignore it lol.

But I dont understand. How did you manage to add the selecting lines into the picture? :odd: Now that I think about it, did you take a screeny of it?

Well i did that once, can't remember how i did though. I think its like you saved the photo before removing the line and the line somehow ended up in the photo. Just remember to flatten the image and press ctrl + d to make sure you save the photo correctly 👍

:

what cell shading?

Cell Shading - Tutorial

it's easy, its like what little kids do when they draw something, they outline in black and color everything a solid colour..

what seperates cellshading from regular styled drawing, is that in cellshading you have to include those shiny reflections, that's what makes cell shading look good.

also, i don't recommend you follow their way of gradiating the window. it kills the cell shaded idea every everything is of solid colour.. it's like a vector almost

Here's some 'vector cartooning' i did..here..

He's kinda my friend so I can do that :P. He knows I'm joking anyway, I mess around with him all the time.

Well thats good.

I got those lines because they came with the picture lol.

Some idiot left them on the bonnet.

Does noone care about my accord ?

the CF is off.. the extra grill on the side skirt is completely brushed on, all soft and flat colour used, no sharp detail (corners) or care to reflections.. also it wasn't necessary to make one since there's one above it already..

the intercooler shows a lack of effort because one end merges with the bottom of the open gap.. which is wrong.. the car is lowered too much, now it looks like it suffered a suspension smash... it's bottomed out.. even IF it wasn't bottomed out, you gotta pay attention to making stuff look real...
in this case, with the rim that close to the wheel arch, it should have casted a shadow on the rims.

Glanza, spend more time on your work rather than doing 'em fast, it's so much more worth it...Have patience...
