I'm fairly new to the site (but not to GT) and I figured I would make a post in the photography section, since photography is one of my main interests.

A little over a week ago I shot my friends EM1, and had some fun in the Orlando area.

I realize not everyone will like the car, probably comment on how stupid the wheel fitment is, or how lame they think the paint is. It happens on Honda forums and I would imagine a variety of people might think the same. It's a flat black paint, with a purple tint professionally sprayed. Anyway, on with the pictures.

The wheels are JLine 20sl2s and the specs are 16x7.5 +7 front, and 16x9.5 +17 rear. The body panels are a little rough, and the fitment on headlights is a bit off, but it's daily driven, and at this height.

So...much...camber....:scared:

But onto the photos themselves.

My favourites are:

The last two are fairly similar, but I do like them both. But a very good job. Got some very unique shots in there.

I meant why are the tires a bit off from straight?

While I wasn't directly answering your question, it is camber. A lot of negative camber. And that is just...how the guy wants them fitted. For some reason. It offers virtually no benefits, and at that level simply degrades performance in some ways.

Haha thanks guys, I do understand that probably 90% of people here are strictly interested in function, stretched tires and camber are not ideal (this much at least)

They offer little to no performance benefits to these extremes, but to fit a 9.5" rear wheel with a low offset needs the camber, and stretched tire (a smaller tire than what's supposed to be on the wheel) such as a 215 I think he may be running on the rear.

It's for looks only, and a lot of people like the look (and obviously a lot of people don't)

The car was feature on both HellaFlush and SpeedHunters

I didn't know about this "stretched tire" thing, so thank you for that.

People are allowed to do whatever they want with their car, everyone has a different idea of what looks good. I don't mind that other people do these things, I just wouldn't do it to my own car.

But...anyway. I hope I'll see more photos from you. ^^

Well it started with VWs in Germany and moved to drift cars for sidewall strength. But it's moved everywhere else to appeal to the looks of other applications.
