I got it a few weeks ago for my 16th birthday. Its a mint 1985 318i manual coupe with 140,000 km on it and full service history. I was originally going to buy it but my dad got to it first, which is bloody good. My only problem are the uncomfortable and unsupportive seats, and its bloody slow! Otherwise a good first car.

We don't know how it happened, she went up to our bach up north and tried to go up our grass hill thingy infront of the house and buried the front tires in the grass. Some people across the road helped her back down and all of a sudden it had no reverse and it drove in neutral. She got the mechanic over and he fiddled around abit and got it to engage neutral in N and drive in D but it still had no reverse.

Looking at $1500-2000 to get it fixed or $800+labour to get a second hand box. We should find out tomorrow or later today.
